Watch out with registration.
Copy and paste from the readme, do not use the copy button in the window that pops up; it contains extra garbage that isn't part of the registrtion code.
I have trid a bunch of screen recording apps.
Just downloaded and installed TSR.
some advantages:
1 Record both audio and video and several audio source options available.
2 Supports four output formats: AVI,WMV,FLV,SWF.
3 Flexibility in setting recording areas according to your needs.
4 Easy setting, easy recording, simple interface, good for beginners
some drawbacks:
unable to edit the video.
audio volume and source option hard to find for the first time.
PS: you can adjust audio volume by clicking on "audio".
To select an audio source, just click on "Mono MIX" and it will pop up some options like MIC, CD Player.
the only reason i tried this was because the website says it will record video games. I have found that it does, But quite horribly! Can't really do anything. I hit the hot keys and nothing happens. So i Alt TAB to desktop, and to my surprise Total Screen Recorder Gold 1.5 isn't even running anymore. The UI is horrid. Blah i can go on forever.. FRAPS cost a few dollars more and i know that will work! Total Screen Recorder Gold 1.5 meet Revo Uninstaller!

Figured I'd give this a try.
Pros:
I saved a few minutes of gameplay footage in wmv format it came out to 10mb. Great compared to fraps outputting raw footage at a few gigs.
Record fullscreen or windows or sections of the screen
Select from a variety of output types
Cons:
Asks to disable hardware acceleration
Max output framerate 30fps
Video Quality mediocre. Game footage was choppy and displayed incorrectly with random black lines and sometimes shadowy screen
Probably would be pretty good for recording desktop tutorials but any ingame footage would be better off with xfire or fraps if you have a giant HDD :P.
Couple of points regarding their website that make them look FISHY
- "Contact Us" there is no clear information, where are they located? A phone number or mailing address?
- The e-mail on the contact us page have a different ".com" address! 'recorder@godsw.com'
- At the bottom of the page "Copyright" with no year or a date when last updated.
- The star rating (Awards) on the left side is NOT legitimate! e.g. Download.com users rate it 3 stars and a half. NOT 5 stars!!

Aktivierung ohne Probleme. Man muss das Tool halt erstmal manuell ausschalten.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung, wie ich den "Überwachungsmodus" abschalten kann?
Wenn ich das Tool öffnen will und die Option deaktivieren will sagt es "Total Screen Recorder Gold läuft bereits" ....

Bei mir wird das Programm einwandfrei registriert.
Das Problem ist nur, nach den Schließen des Programmfensters wird nicht das Programm geschlossen, sondern nur in die Systray gelegt.
Darum rechte Maustaste auf den Camcorder in der Systray und Quit anklicken. Danach neu starten und schon ist es registriert!

ich habe das Programm installiert aber die Freischaltung funktioniert
nicht. Den Schlüssel habe ich mit "Paste From Clipboart" copiert. Weiter mit Taste OK. Dann Restart des Programmes. Es kommt immer Ungegistriert. Was mache ich falsch ??? Auch manuelle Eingabe des Schlüssels funktioniert nicht !!!!!!
Es kommt auch eine Fehlermeldung: "Hardwarebeschleuniger deaktivieren". Die Grafikkarte ist eine Nvidia GT240 mit Win7 Home.

Normalerweise halte ich mich mit (negativer) Kritik zurück, aber die Herstellerfirma scheint einfach nicht gut zu sein. Ich wollte "Prayaya V3" testen. Aber nach der Installation brach das Programm mit einer Fehlermeldung ab, nicht ohne auf ein chinesisches (?) Forum zu verweisen. Bitter, wenn die Software tatsächlich jemand kauft...

Das Programm hängt sich einfach auf und lässt sich nur noch durch den Taskmanager schließen.

nach Codeeingabe: is allready running. (verbleibt im Tray ... bis man das erstmal merkt ...) => unangenehme Meldung/Erfahrung.
