This is not a bad program. However I would recommend going to the publisher's site. Download the zip version which requires no installation. Put in the Registration Name and Registration Key from the readme file to make it the Pro version.
Thanks to KC Software for the giveaway. As the GOTD licence specifies "No free upgrades to future versions" you may wish to consider FileHippo Update Checker as an alternative.
As SUMO updates almost weekly this Pro free trial period is very short. Not worth bothering with. The free version works fine.

All 'weekly" update to 5.3.8, 5.3.9, ... will work BUT, furture update to 5.4 or 6.0 will break the licence.

My previous comment, last year (4 Sep 2016):
SUMO portable creates C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\KC Softwares\SUMo, where it stores six files.
I'd like to have only one folder, with all sumo files in it.
They are still there...

Isn't there an inconsistency here? Most software offers on GOTD specifically exclude updates - as does this program. And here you are offering a program that checks for, you got it, updates. Which again are not included with this offer.

Obviously SUMO allows to exclude the programs you don't want to update.

Danke für das "giveaway". Leider wird nach dem Anklicken auf den Link nicht die PRO-Version (auch wenn es so dort steht) heruntergeladen sondern nur die light-Version. Bei mir zumindest ist es so nach der Installation.

Hallo Manfred, mach es so wie es in dem englischen Kommentar hier weiter unten steht, lade dir die Zip-Testversion sumo.zip von der Herstellerhomepage, die läuft ohne Installation, und schalte sie mit den Daten in der Readme.txt zur Vollversion frei, das funktioniert!
