The installer is an online-downloader that loads around the real installer sized 64MB. At the start you have to enter your email and click the option "Get free activation key". You are transfered to your browser where you can Fill in the online form or skip to the page with license code. Copy and paste this common code and press the "Paste"-button in the programm installation dialog, manual pasting and Return do not work.
And now comes some really annoying step, it won't let you chose a install destination other than the given one and other than stated in the dialog there is no "back"-button to correct this.
Installallation occupies 184MB on the c:-drive. It choses the unusual folder C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SoftOrbits\Photo Editor. Now finally on first program start you get asked for downloading and installation of additional 3GB of AI-content. If you agree the download begins and beside Python 3.10.6 there are installed around 6GB of additional data in around fourtythousand files (40.000). As usual everything is installed without any further inquiry into C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\softorbits\. After a good while the program is ready for testing. Stay tuned.

I discovered that C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\SoftOrbits\SoftOrbits AI Photo Editor\models
folder was still empty.
How do I make it download the AI models? I chose to uncheck "GPU support", and in return it downloaded nothing at all. there is nothing in the app menus. Tried uninstalling completely, reinstalling... nothing.

Greetings. There are some differences when it comes to the recommended Specs. Whereas here it states "GPU with more than 4 GB of memory", the "how to use" section on the product page says "Video Card with 12+ GB of RAM (Required)" for usage of the AI features. There the Minimum Requirements are listing some very low end Cards (NVIDIA® GeForce® series 8 and 8M, Intel® HD Graphics 2000, Quadro FX 4800, Quadro FX 5600, AMD Radeon™ R600, Mobility Radeon™ HD 4330, Mobility FirePro™ series, Radeon™ R5 M230 or higher graphics card with up-to-date drivers).
Advertisement I got via mail today wants (same product/version) says "NVIDIA® GeForce®, Intel® HD Graphics,AMD Radeon™ with at least 8 GB of RAM"
All in all the recommended specs are all over the place.
