$99.95? For what? There are tons of free alternatives that do the same thing. I've been using PDF995 for years, pdf995.com, and find it all of their software so helpful that I've donated to help support them.
I can see nothing in this software that could possibly justify that kind of pricing.
I have to agree with all of the commenters thus far (only 4 at the time of this writing) - While I'm sure a great deal of effort and resources were applied to the process of creating this software, the price is way out of line when compared to that of other manufacturers providing the same or similar capabilities. (And I should point out that Giovanni hasn't added his insight yet either!)
I realize it can be difficult to assign a price to an intangible item such as a software program, especially if you've put a lot of effort into it. There are no hard and fast rules concerning how to go about that task. Such factors as the number of potential users of the software, coupled with the investment made - in terms of material costs as well as time resources dedicated to its creation - must be taken into account. Indeed, in some cases, such items may even be given away as a "loss-leader" that will incite people to buy other associated products from you.
It is interesting to note some of the "suggestions" provided so far in the "suggestion box" area above these comments. While there are some truly good ideas, there are also quite a few other suggestions that are almost laughable because they ask for "features" that are either completely unrelated to the function of the original software, or would require more effort and coding than the original software did!
Of course, when you place an open invitation for people to write their opinions in a place where something is being given away for free, you're going to receive a lot of input from what I call "freeloaders" who think that the world owes them everything their hearts desire completely free of charge, and no strings attached whatsoever. They complain about having to provide their email address, yet many of them have no problem with forwarding a bunch of idiotic Facebook game requests to everyone on their friend list (which I'm sure shrinks considerably every time they do it). Still, it's fun and helps a semi-retired disabled tech like me to pass the time...
Oh - that brings up one final thought...
Within the circles I tend to travel online, most people would like to have a software such as this to write and distribute their own e-books (for sale, and therefore their use would be considered "commercial" in nature - which is BANNED under the terms of this and most other giveaways on this site). I might suggest that the powers-that-be consider REMOVING that restriction, since the software would then get into the hands of a greater number of people who not only have a tighter set of standards, but also a better understanding of what business is about in the first place.
Thanks for your generosity, and for tolerating the ramblings of an "old-timer" such as myself, who has far too much time on his hands!

100 bucks for a buggy virtual printer?!?! Get real!
It does not properly create PDFs out of PowerPoint (slides/pages are horizontally truncated), sometimes it fails to create the printed PDF file altogether and more than once it forces the name of a previously printed file over to the next one even if the names are totally different from each other!

Wie bitte, eine PDF-Anwendung, die einen System-Neustart erfordert? Da lachen doch die Hühner! Schon allein das sollte jeden, der noch seine fünf Sinne beisammen hat, davon abhalten, sein System mit so einem fragwürdigen Zeug zu verhunzen.

Das Programm kommt ganz modern im Windows 8 Look daher.
Da können die Konvertierfähgikeiten auch nicht so schlecht sein.
Auch wenn ich meinen Lieblingskonverter schon lange gefunden habe (PDF Creator, zum Download z.B. bei chip.de) können meiner Erfahrung nach ein paar alternative Programme nicht schaden auf die man im Bedarfsfall zurückgreifen kann.
Auch wenn jetzt sogar schon Acrobat Pro 8.0 kostenlos zu haben ist, schmälert das nicht den Wert alternativer Programme.

Habe bei dem Programm nur die Funktion ausprobiert, die ich nutzen wollte: näümlich das Extrahieren beliebiger Seiten aus einem Pdf-File(entweder einzeln oder zusammen zu einem neuen Pdf-Dokument).
Und das funktioniert einwandfrei und sehr schnell.

Wer normal knapp 100 € (diesmal zwar kostenlos) für diese Software ausgibt, die es in Massen als Freeware gibt, verstehe ich nicht. Sind die Leute blöd? Versucht 'mal den semiprofessinellen PDF-Creator, kostenlos forever!

Auch heute wieder ein riesengroßes Danke für diese einmalig super tolle Gratis-Software an GAOTD.
Ich finde alle von GAOTD angebotene Gartis-Software einfach super…..
…besonders, seit ich dafür extra eine zusätzliche 2TB Festplatte angeschafft habe.
Nach 500 erfolgreichern Downloads einfach 1x Rechtsklick und “Datenträger formatieren” auswählen. Super Ergebnis und das Beste, was man damit machen kann.

Habe in der letzten Stunde ca. 20 mal versucht, die Installation durchzuführen. Jedesmal erhalte ich unmittelbar nach dem Start der Installation die Meldung "Failed to connect. Please try again later".
Meine Verbindung zum Internet steht. Ich habe in der letzten Stunde sowohl (erfolgreich) e-Mails runtergeladen als auch einige Webseiten aufgerufen. (Und unmittelbar davor habe ich die "PDF Impress 2013" Software runtergeladen...)

Eine Software, die mit vielen kleinen Fehlern behaftet ist, und die sich gegen eine große, mehr oder minder gleichwertige Freeware-Konkurrenz durchsetzen soll, zu einem absolut lächerlichen Preis: Nein danke, möchte ich nicht mal geschenkt. Runter von der Platte!

Was kann ich mit dem installierten Proggi machen ?
Pilze schneiden ? Oder den Joint des Übersetzers anzünden ??
Irgend wie fehlt da eine Erklärung.
Allein vom Verständniss her würde ich ja annehmen das man hinterher die PDF-Datei ausdrucken lassen kann. Doch das würde ich in den o.g. Satz noch aufnehmen, damit solche Dummies wie ich das auch verstehen.
