Format Factory is way better than this. It can convert ALL types of multimedia files at amazing speed. Plus, it is a freeware.
hi to number 6 well just because you have software from a giveaway already does not mean all people on the planet were able to get the software that day and this gives them a chance to obtain it so stop being so bloody selfish and thank the team for the offers
Unfortunately there's no game giveaway again this weekend so I've posted a few games to help those that are game addicts along the way. I've departed from my usual practice of including singleplayer only games and decided to post a couple of multiplayer games as well as a few single player ones. Most of you will be familair with one because it's been given away previously.
The 2 singleplayer games are a platform game called Alice & the Golden Coins, and a top down 2D shooter called Alphasix. The multiplayer games are SAGA a fully persistent MMO RTS (Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy) and Starsiege Tribes another MMO RTS game. The Good
* Simple and easy to use.
* Not too bad on computer resources.
* Allows you to choose from multiple different "profiles" for output 3GP video.
* Can by-pass DRM protection (for legal backups only of course ^_-).
* You can pick and choose which part of the DVD to "record".
* Good output quality.
* Decent conversion speed.
The Bad
* Needs a third party program to assist it in playing region locked DVDs.
* DVD aspect ratios are not carried over.
* "Fast forwarding" past the titles doesn't work properly for me.
* I get an error whenever trying to record "from beginning to end".

#2 and #5, the answer may be simply that persons read the incredulous claims by the vendors of:
"It can quickly convert DVD movies to Mobile 3GP without any loss of quality."
And imediately spot the lie and take an instant dislike to the vendor and program on offer. It is currently mathematically impossible to convert from a lossy MPEG2 compression format to a different lossy compression format, even if you were able to maintain the same frame-rate and pixel count on the rendered frames or the same channel number and sample rate and resolution on the sound tracks. (which would make an unplayable 3gp movie on most phones)
What might be possible is to convert the movies information from DVD to 3gp format with minimal loss of quality or any extra loss of quality other than is involved in resizing the frames and recompressing using the chosen 3gp compression method and bit rate...
But that would be too honest and not wow enough for marketing speak.

Ich habe diesen Koverter nicht getestet und werde es auch nicht tun, weil mir ein Tool nur für das Handyformat 3gp nicht genügt.
Ich benutze den Extra DVD Ripper Express (gleicher Hersteller- auch hier angeboten)bzw. den Wondershare Video Converter Platinum.
Beide arbeiten perfekt und erlauben das Konvertieren in weitaus mehr Formate.

Hmmm... derjenige, der die tägliche Software bei GOTD aussucht, hat wohl einen 1-EUR-Job *lach* Vorgestern gabs das Wondershare-Universaltool zum DVD-Rippen und heute einen Kastraten von "Extra".
Braucht kein Mensch - zumindest niemand, der das Wondershare-Tool vorgestern runtergeladen hat.
