Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system.
One of the many Ashampoo software titles. We had Ashampoo Photo Converter 1.0.1 on October 5, 2014. Here are the old comments:

Registration the "Ashampoo way". After installation, Ashampoo advertises their Cut-Out 4.0 at a special price. The company is strong in advertizing.
The software is from June 2014, some files are recently updated from January 5th of this year. If you need some flags icon, look in the Flags directory.
Upon start an absolutely unneeded splash screen, where you can change the language and configure the "service channel". Here you can deselect the automatic updates.

After "start the converter" a fanbcy, small and not resizable window opens. You select a directory or your files, define the picture manipulation and start the batch. Your last opened picture will be taken as a preview in the "processing options".
Finishing the task, you are advertized to buy Ashampoo Burning Studio 15.
Nothing new, nothing special. Does what it claims. A very simple batch converter. Take it, if you don't have any.
Uninstalled via reboot. Don't need more than one picture converter,

The software does not support drag and drop to add files for conversion.
Include this in future versions.
The output allows user to retain original date and time when photo was taken, in the converted photo. This is important.

Es tut mir leid, aber ich kann es nur so zusammenfassen: Nett, daß Du uns mitteilst, daß Du Dich dämlich anstellst. Warum schaltest Du die Werbung nicht einfach aus?
Ich habe schon über 50 Lizenzen, aber keine Werbung. Das liegt jedoch nicht daran, daß ich mir ein teures CAD-Programm zu einem Viertel des Preises gekauft habe, sondern dass ich nach jeder Aktivierung beide Newsletter im Account wieder ausschalte. Im Programm wird auch nichts angezeigt, wenn man einfach den Empfang von Informationen abwählt.

Erstens habe ich noch keine Software gesehen, die aus einem vermurksten Bild mit einem Klick ein gutes gemacht hätte.
Und zweitens wird man nach Installation eines Programmes von Ashampoo sofort und fast täglich mit Werbung belästigt. "Upgrade kaufen" und "Ihr ganz persönliches Angebot." Sogar aus dem installlierten Programm heraus wird man mit Werbung behelligt.
So eine Spamschleuder brauche ich nicht. Daumen runter und Danke!

Anfängerfreundliches, übersichtliches Fotoeditor & Optimierungs-Tool, mit beinah allen Finessen, das sehr viele (+ ´exotische´) Bildformate beherrscht, sowie die häufig sehr erleichternde Stapelverarbeitung für die schnelle (=>Komplette Bildordner-)Massenbearbeitung bietet! Von der Bilddateigrößenreduzierung mit geringen Qualitätsverlusten, für den problemlosen Mail-Versand / Web-Upload, u.a.m. ganz zu schweigen,...Vielen Dank, für diese tolle Gratis-Foto-Software! :-)
