Der Rechner dient mittlerweile als riesiger Datenspeicher für Dokumente, Bilder und Videos. Diese Dokumente bilden häufig einen riesigen ideellen Wert. Durch versehentliches Löschen oder auch einen Festplattencrash und Schadsoftware können diese Daten unwiderruflich verloren gehen. Doch das Ärgernis durch einen solchen Datenverlust kann vermieden werden. Mit der Software abylon BACKUP-TUBE können Sie von Verzeichnissen eine exakte Kopie anlegen.

Die Datensicherung erfolgt dabei automatisch oder manuell durch das Anstoßen des Backup- oder Synchronisation-Jobs. Intelligente Routinen beschleunigen den Backup-Vorgang und reduzieren so das Datenaufkommen. Dadurch werden nur geänderte oder neue Dateien in die Sicherungskopie übernommen. Im Synchronisationsfall werden zusätzlich im Quellverzeichnis gelöscht Dateien auch im Zielverzeichnis entfernt. Somit bleibt das Datenbackup immer auf dem neusten Stand und im Schadensfall lassen sich ohne großen Aufwand einzelne Dateien oder das komplette Verzeichnis aus dem Datenspiegel wieder herstellen.

- WOW! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass das geht...

Bei genauerem lesen fand ich heraus, dass es sich anscheinend um ein Datei-Synchronistationsprogramm handelt, also etwas was Verzeichnisse automatisch abgleicht.
Für das "Tube" im Programmnamen fand ich leider keine Erklärung. In die Röhre schauen?

@Dreas , du kannst nun davon ausgehen,dass der Troll aufgrund deiner aussage morgen warscheinlich deinen namen für seine dummen
kommentare verwenden wird.

Da er es scheinbar cool findest und sich wichtig fühlt die usernamen andere für seine trollerei zu verwenden.

Also ehlich Leute ... eure Kommentare sind doch sowas von unnötig. Ich wünschte mir das es das Ranking-System der englischsprachigen GiveAwayoftheDay-Seite hier auch gibt. Dort kann man hilfreiche Kommentare mit einem "Pro" und Kommentare wie: brauch ich nich, schon wieder Konverter, hatten wir schonmal, immer das gleiche ..... und viele andere Auswürfe mit einem negativen Vermerk bewerten. Ich bin mir sicher das hier Rekorde aufgestellt würden ... aber nicht im positiven Sinnen. Wer richtig gute Software haben will der sollte nicht auf dieser Seite schnorren und lieber den Entwicklern etwas für gute Software bezahlen. Begnügt euch mit dem was Ihr hier bekommen könnt, ob brauchbar oder nicht. Euer Geldungsdrang bitte woanders ausleben ... auf Arbeit oder bei Mama !!!

Mit dieser Supersoftware ist es wirklich möglich Dateien von einen Ordner in einen ganz anderen zu kopieren? Wie ist das technisch nur möglich? Und das alles für nur $35.73!
Ich bin begeistert! Das ist das beste Programm, das jemals hier angeboten wurde.
Hiermit bestelle ich gleich 5 Stück (falls eins kaputt geht...)!

ich habe fast alle galaden. viele lassen sich nach einen tag nicht mehr installieren, schade. deswegen habe ich viele kaufen müssen. nach ca. 1-2 wochen komme ich mit jedem programm klar.

Nachdem ich diverse Backup-Strategien und -Programme angetestet habe, hatte ich irgendwann die Faxen dicke und habe mir für € 89,- ein externes 1TB-USB-Laufwerk geholt.
Da lasse ich einmal monatlich über meinen Liebling Total Commander die Copy-Funktion über Nacht laufen ...
Beim erstenmal dauert es halt ein wenig, später kann man dann über Synchronisieren eine erhebliche Verkürzung der Zeit erzielen.
... und gestern hat der Enkel die Platte heruntergeworfen, ... aber Gott sei dank läuft sie noch ;-))

Schon wieder eine fette Tube Abylonsoft - Super! Wenn Backup, dann richtig! (Acronis True Image Home)Für das Backup von einzelnen Verzeichissen tut es z.B. "BackToZip".Heute wäre eine Tube Zahŋcrėme die bessere Wahl gewesen. Für eure täglichen Bemühungen natürlich wieder vielen Dank!

Very poor software with poor programming today: actually I think it's not worth a single penny/dime, meaning it would be a very bad choice even as FREEWARE.

Besides that I think that for this genre of software FREEWARE/OPEN SOURCE ALTERNATIVES are definitely a better choice, unless a GAOTD like this would be able to offer outstanding features missing elsewhere (but unfortunately this is not the case for this poor tool and almost any other program coming from this developer).

For instance the awesome OS "Create Synchronicity" can not only copy your docs, pics, music and video files to your USB drive or backup drive, but also scheduling server backups with regex filtering and DST compensation with automatic catching up. Best of all it's even PORTABLE!!

back-up and manual synch actually worked (windows 8 64bit), automatic synch had no response. Either take Gio's freeware alternative or wait, within a week or two I am sure GOTD will offer another back-up/sync program.

p.s First setup screen will ask you to disable anti virus and firewall before install.

NEVER DISABLE YOUR SECURITY SOFTWARE. If a program only can be installed when your security software is disabled it is not a trustworthy title and it should be avoided like the plague.!!!!!

however it installed fine for me with all security in place. Still... beter programs are available both freeware and/or paid

This is no slam on GAOTD ... only a comment on the price of this app. Thanks, GAOTD, for bring us other valuable programs.

HOWEVER -- Years ago, I did the same thing with a simple MS-DOS batch file (yes...still works as command file today) doing first a full, and afterwards, an incremental backup based on file description criteria, and ran through task manager. $35.00+ for something that can be done for free -- give me a break!
