If you want a one-stop shop to manage mp3 files, this application is reasonably good. But, I found a few applications to be better than this program. As a power user, I ended up using a combination of Foobar2000, mp3tag and music brainz picard. Here's my reasons,
1. It was easier to use 3 apps than one app
2. Foobar2000 and mp3tag work with all audio file formats that I know of, not just mp3 files
3. Foobar2000 can verify the integrity of my music collection with a single click (including multiple file formats like FLAC, WAV, etc)
4. Music Brainz Picard can automatically get meta-data updates for all of my music. It will grade the quality of the meta-data in my existing files (green = good, yellow = ok, red = needs fixing)
5. I have simple commands in mp3tag to rename music files based on meta-data and vice versa. I can also run commands over all of my meta-data (eg. change all ampersand (&) to the word 'and', capitalise each word, convert numbers like 9 to the word 'nine')
6. Using Foobar2000, I can do cool stuff like sorting my music into directories using artist, album, genre (eg. Rock, Instrumental, etc)
7. I can normalise the volume of all of my music using Foobar2000.
Some of these things (eg. normalising volume, fixing meta-data) are in Zortram. Things like compatibility with FLAC, transcoding to formats like Apple's AAC/M4A, verifying music files, directory sorting, etc are not possible with Zortram (that I could find). I love that with mp3tag, you can select 20 files and change the Genre in 1 go.
TL;DR - I ended up using Foobar2000, mp3tag and music brainz picard because they did more and I found them easier to use than Zortram.

Actually quite a nice program with lots of good features. I tried out version 13 some years ago but version 19 is a whole different and way better software.
- I especially like that it can download lyrics, something MP3Tag can't. Alas, it can't download them automatically in a batch, you have to do for every single song manually.
- Sadly the program can't handle unicode. I have tons of music from Asia and I only get "gibberish" when adding such a file.
- The GUI isn't my cup of tea, either. Most skins are clones of old Mac software. I had to use a skin named "Vista" to get one that looks at least a bit decent and "Windows"-like.
- Something a lot of software does and that I really hate. It saves it's data(base) in C:User and not in a sub directory of the program itself or a user defined directory. My C: drive is a rather small SSD and stuffed. I really, really hate it when software uses my valuable space on C: without me giving an option to change the path.
Deinstallation went without problems.

We are working to implement Unicode to all segments of our program including lyrics by the end of this year. But for such complex program we need time to implemented it. There is so many free programs and is difficult to find cost effective resolution for doing that. We are hoping if everything goes well by the end of the year program will be full UNICODE supported.

Freischalt-Server war anscheinend nur für kurze Zeit erreichbar - mir ist es nicht gelungen, das Programm zu installieren.

Nach Extrahierung und Installation gibts keinen Lizenzschlüssel.
Es lassen sich die Daten zwar öffnen, aber die Tags zumindest bei mir nicht bearbeiten oder ausfüllen.
Wird daher wieder deinstalliert!

Für mich am interessantesten ist das auto tagging. Habe von 1000 zufällig ausgewählten mp3-Kopien die Tags entfernt und die Dateien dem Zortam Mp3 Studio zum taggen übergeben. 782 Mp3-Dateien wurden korrekt und ziemlich flott getagt. Die restlichen Dateien wurden in Ruhe gelassen. Nicht schlecht. Daumen hoch.

@ Max Baloo...bei mir Win 7 und Win 8 64 bit läuft es ohne Probleme und organisiert eine 8 TB platte....voll mit 6 TB Musik,

Gehe ich auf eine große Festplatte (2TB), stürzt das Programm sofort ab!!
Gehe ich nochmals auf die Festplatte, und dann in ein Verzeichnis mit vielen Musikdateien, stürzt das Programm ebenfalls ab.

hatte ich in früheren versionen. hatte meine gesamten mp3-tags durcheinandergewürfelt. also vorher backup machen !

Habe bis jetzt "MusicBee" verwendet und war auch zufrieden damit.
Aber auch der "MediaMonkey" ist eine für mich akzeptable Freeware, weil schlank und effektiv.
( iTunes ist mir zu aufdringlich!!)
"Zortam MP3 Media Studio Pro" macht aber einen sehr guten Eindruck.
Werde das Programm in den nächsten Tagen testen.
