First of all, please note that the freeware version 16-40 available at many websites, is crippled. There are many features you cannot use and when you try to, it asks you to buy the Pro version; which is given away here today. For those who want try the freeware portable version, you have to install it into a USB drive and not onto any network hard disk.

Downloaded & installed this GOTD Pro Version. It automatically activated.
Tested the software.
I must thank Zortam + GOTD for letting us try it out without having to buy first.
In my opinion, the overall result is: FAIL.
Reasons:
• The user interface is too busy.
• It is evident that the programmer is not clear what he is trying to create, so he does a little bit of everything (and not very well too).
• This is an common software-development-project failure. There is no clear sense of focus and direction. What do you want us to program boss? Oh, just throw a little of everything in, try to give "value for money" by giving every feature.
• The Zortam database of songs is woefully inadequate.
• It named the Artiste, Year, Genre and Album all wrongly.
• It requires you to first have a correct IDTag on the music file, in order to be more accurate. Which is nonsense. If I already have such, then I do not need this software to do ID tagging.
• The menu, key commands and mouse commands to do anything with the music files is not intuitive. Highly confusing.
• There is over emphasis on CD cover images.
• Other online utilty or off-line software with ability to link with and identify songs from GraceNote is much superior to Zortam MP3 Media Studio Pro.
• A built-in Z player is included for you to hear the songs. But the problem is the confusing User Interface leads to the song being played when you want to do something else.
• There is a facility for you to manually edit and type in the correct IDTag fields to a music/song file.
Since this software is highly confusing, not accurate in IDtag and not useful, I will uninstall it immediately after leaving this comment.
This program constantly crashed when attempting to update database or retrieve song lyrics. I had previous used this software when it was previously given away. But it disabled the player so the software became worthless.
Thought I would give it another try but this was even worse. I was running Windows 7, Home Edition 64 bit.
Unfortunately, the program does not start. Installed in but will not start - reinstall did not help: (
I installed on Windows XP SP2, but it doesn't work, the exe file shows in task manager for 2 seconds. Nothing else is shown.
When running the player, it shows a DLL error.
Please fix this bug, and give us a new opportunity to download in GiveAwayOfTheDay
down loaded and installed okay, tried it on some music files which were already tagged now they are a total mess ie;- most of my Dave Bowie songs have been tagged as The greatest hits albums and the same as my Aerosmith
avoid or it will cost you alot of time to retag your music

seid Ihr eingeschlafen oder in Urlaub? Ihr habt da eine ganze Seite Reklamationen dass man das Programm nicht zum Laufen bringt und von Euch gibt es keinerlei Reaktion!!!

das Programm funktioniert nicht mit aktuellem Windows 64Bit.
Es lässt sich installieren, aber startet ins nichts.
Auch mit XP Kompatibilitäts Modus kein Start.
Zeitverschwendung. Ihr solltet die Programme auch prüfen ob sie wirklich arbeiten.

Wieder eine unbrauchbare Betaversion, die auch in der Version 16 nicht auf modernen Systemen zum Laufen kommt. Ein typisches GAOTD-Geschenk, auf das ich auch heute wieder verzichten kann. Schönen Tag noch!

Installation bei Win7 problemlos, beim Start 5 Sek Logo das wars. Liebes GotD-Team da habt ihr heftigen Schrott produziert. Ich hoffe mal dass Ihr in der Lage seid das zu korrigieren. Aber Sinn macht das nur wenn das wenn die Ladefrist verlängert wird.

Die (ausgewählte) deutsche Version läuft leider nicht unter Windows 7 (64 Bit)! - Schade!
Die englische Version funktioniert aber zum Glück.

Nachtrag:
Habe die Download-Version von der Website des Anbieter über die GAotD Version installaliert. Danach lässt sich das Programm starten, sagt jedoch es sei eine "UNREGISTERED VERSION".
Es scheint aber keine Einschränkungen zu haben, zumindest kann ich auf Anhieb keine erkennen. Könnte jedoch sein, dass es nach einer Testzeit nicht mehr startet.

Habe das gleiche Problem wie in einigen Posts bereits beschrieben. Das Programm lässt sich unter Windows 7 64bit problemlos installieren, aber leider nicht starten. Es erscheint ganz kurz ein Splash-Screen und das war's dann.
Hat das Programm überhaupt irgendjemand ans Laufen bekommen?

Habe PRG. auf verschiedenen Rechnern installiert. Startet auf KEINEM.
W7 32Bit / W7 64 Bit / W8.1 64 Bit.
dann mal lieber die Alternative von 10 (Wayan) testen.

Wenn es denn überhaupt starten würde, könnte ich was dazu sagen. Aber ausser einem Splashscreen seh ich nix (Win7 64bit). Auch im Task Manager wird der zmm-prozess nur für Sekundenbruchteile angezeigt.

"Zortam Mp3 media Studio Pro" jetzt also schon Version 16.40. Toll! Ist aber derselbe Schrott wie die Version 14! Der mittlere Screenshot zeigt sogar Version 6.76!!!

Moin, das Programm lässt sich installieren, sagt sogar auf Deutsch, sagt auch das die Verbindung zu GAOTD erfolgreich war, aber auch nach einem Neustart als Admin blitzt kurz das mittelgrosse Programmlogo auf und dann ist Feierabend. WIN7 32b.
naja, evtl gibt es eine Lösung ansonsten war's das.
