What is the advantage of this software over WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro
which was given here last month?

EDDIE, depends upon your requirements on what the advantges are... if you only have a Vista system with a DVD/Blu-ray optical drive then this claims compatability with Vista while WonderFox product requires at least Windows 7 system. WonderFox boasts about ripping DVD 720x480 or 720x576 to 7680*4320 which of course is NO advantage since it just wastes space and LAN bandwidth and serves no useful purpose since you cannot add information with any accuracy that simply does not exist. Neither boasts AI upscaling which is much more CPU/GPU intensive but can produce much more pleasing results than non-adaptive upscaling algorithims. Not sure how you get 47x increase in reipping speed over realtime playback when optical drives do not approach DVD x 47 playback speed. My guess is they are using some obscure specification as 1x ripping speed e.g. 47 x 5mins the boasted ripping time... equals 235mins for 1x speed and that would be close to a 4 hour long Video which would be really poor quality squeezing 4 hours of video into 4.7G DVD! I very much doubt they are really achieving or meaning 2.5 minutes for a 120min movie on a 4.7G DVD-Video, if they were they'd say that as 2.5 minutes to rip a DVD sounds better than 5mins!
