* Has a built in YouTube, MetaCafe, and Break search engine.
* Browser independent.

* Can do basic video edits.
The Bad
* Not very, uh, "kid friendly".
* No automatic detection; you must manually type/paste in URL of video you want to download.

WARNING - This site, per the WOT Site has a very poor rating in all categories, as follows:

Warning: I should have been clearer. During the install process, the alternative software VDownloader recommended by #4 happy person employs the sleazy opt OUT technique* of trying to install an unknown auction toolbar/icon on your desktop. Don’t know what it is, didn’t fall for it, unchecked that button (which is intentionally placed way at the bottom of the pop up window where you choose what to install). This sleazy stunt is also practiced by companies like Adobe and Piriform, to stick you with the Yahoo and Google toolbars… it should ALWAYS be opt IN, not opt OUT, imho.

Die Flashvideos, die ich speichern möchte sind unsupportet. Falls jemand einen Tipp hat, womit ich die Videos von der angegebenen Website speichern kann, wär ich dankbar. Orbit und Flashget können das auch nicht.
Freeware kann genauso viel und ist besser übersetzt.

Mein Orbit Downloader - kleines 2.3 mb großes freeware tool - bietet mir beim Gucken - sehr userfreundlich - die Option "download "an , wozu wird dann noch ein Programm auf dem Markt geworfen , was 40 $ kostet?!
Croppen und schneiden kann man auch mit virtual dub - ebenfalls freeware und konvertieren ...... ihr wisst schon .... :-D
