Here are some questions.
1. Why does the USB threats page of the company cited above not list any actual threats? It talks in generalities without giving any real details. For example, what is the difference between a USB virus and "regular viruses"? Aren't they the same with just a different launch vector? Or how does a USB virus that has already infected your system (that this program claims it can heal) differ from a downloaded virus that has infected your system?
2. Why does the company publish a checklist of features against two unnamed programs again with no specifics? I'm quite ready to believe that one company's scanning engine can catch different malware than another's, but I won't trust a company that doesn't cite specific malware it caught that other specific products missed.
3. Why does a company have to resort to scare tactics, like "most dreaded viruses", "USB menaces" and "SOME REALITIES YOU MUST FACE - THE TRUTH"?
4. Why does the company's About page say "ArzooSoft Solutions has also won many prestigious awards for its products" without actually naming any awards or having an Awards page? Yes, the Home page does show three awards badges, one from Softpedia that basically just says the software doesn't contain malware (whoopie!) and two badges from sites I've never heard of -- and none of the badges actually link to reviews on those sites.
5. Why can't a company hire a proofreader to correct blatant grammatical and spelling flaws? Would you trust a company whose professional Web site doesn't look better written than your typical spam E-mail?
6. Does a company representative who says "Instead of just commenting on your general knowledge, it would be excellent if you could try the product, I am sure the rest of the world who have evaluated and bought this product are not duffers," sound like they're trying to get you to blindly install a product? Shouldn't their Web site give you enough details to evaluate whether or not the product is useful? And how should we try the product? Unless we already have a virus that this happens to detect, should we put one on a USB device and try to launch it? Please.
These are just some questions to consider before trusting a company.

Ich verstehe den Sinn des Programmes auch nicht. Es soll angeblich mehr machen als jeder Virenscanner. Das ist echt lachhaft. Auch wenn es das Teil heute kostenlos gibt ist es komplett Überflüssig. Nicht mal als reine Freeware wäre es sinnvoll.
Einzigster Vorteil, wenn kein Virenscanner installiert ist, meint das Sec Center von Windows das einer installiert sei. Wenn es ohne Virenscanner laufen soll, dann mag es ja ganz OK sein.
Geschenkt ist das Programm noch zu teuer

scheinbar kennst du nopch immer nicht den Unterschied zwischen kostenlos und umsonst!!!Beizutragen hast du ja eh nix,ausser dich täglich unter verschiedenen Namen hier über andere herzuziehen,die ihre Meinung zum Programm sagen!Du sammelst hier scheinbar nur alles,egal ob gut,fehlerbehaftet,es sich garnicht erst installieren läßt-aber schön grundsätzlich pos. bewerten,obwohl du es überhaupt nicht getestet hast!Geh mal arbeiten,da verdient man Geld und kann sich Software kaufen,die hier einem gefällt und sinnvoll ist!Das heutige Programm ist wirklich überflüssig,da jedes gute Antivirenprogramm solchen Job erledigt.Und jeder sollte 30-40 Euros im Jahr übrig haben für eine Jahreslizens einen Virenprogramms.
Nun,da schau ich morgen wieder hier rein,ob was brauchbares für mich ist.

"USB Threat" "proaktives Scannen" - ehrlich, Leute, das sagt mir nichts. Ich spreche einigermassen Englisch und mache schon seit Homecomputers Tagen an Rechnern rum, aber ich kenne diese "Begriffe" nicht. Ok, USB-Drohung/Bedrohung, zur Not ja. Aber was an USB ist bedrohlich, dass ein Scanprogramm etwas ausrichtet ? Aussetzer, Strom-limit, Unverträglichkeit, das ordne ich USB zu, aber scannen...?
Und mit proactiv kann ich schon mal gar nichts anfangen.
Ach Du jeh, nach testweisem Install soll das eine Art portabler Virenscanner sein. Sorry, hatte es gar nicht kapiert. Falls man wo hingeht, wo niemand einen VS hat, um seinen Stick zu schützen. Da ich das Programm offiziell ja nur einmal installieren kann, kann ichs also schon mal gar nicht für den wahren Zweck benutzen. Das Menü verschwindet auch zu 90% unter dem knallig-roten Rechteck oben (ich hab nen handelsübl. 19" ohne Extra-Treiber auf 1440x900).
Alles in Allem scheint das Programm nichts zu können, was mein schon vorhandener VS nicht nebenher auch noch macht. Die Grafikanpassung wirkt auf mich, wie meine ersten Programmierversuche. In manchen Einstellungen ist die Schrift kaum lesbar, wie bei nem Drucker mit fast leerer Patrone. 39,95$ halte ich für illusorisch, höflich ausgedrückt. Ich entferne es wieder.

Komisch im letzten Jahr stand auf der Homepage von Arzoosoft noch "gegründet von IT-Studenten". Heute steht dort "gegründet von IT-Professionals". Ob das hilft, recht sinnfreie Software besser zu verkaufen?

Dafür ein Extravirenscanner?Und dann auch noch Geld dafür verlangen?Wo gibts denn sowas?Jedes anständige Virenprogramm scannt doch automatisch in Echtzeit,sobald ein USB-Laufwerk/Stick angeschlossen wird an den PC und schickt bei Bedarf dann in Quarantäne oder löscht die Funde.

Kostenlose Virenscanner wie AVG Antivirus oder Rising Antivirus Free 2009 haben sowas mit drin - wozu ein extra Programm? Wieder einmal ein Programm das die Welt nich braucht.
