Okay this came along at an opportune time as I have just had the microSD card in my camera crash.
Downloaded the software - opened the zip file. There is a README.TXT which gives the activation code.
Ran setup - installed easily on my Win10 laptop. Found the activation icon and pasted in the code. Worked.
Selected the card and ran and it found lots of my lost jpg files. Maybe not a very difficult test but the camera said I needed to format the card or replace it. After recovering the jpg images I tried to re-format the card under Win10 and also with the SD Card Association free software and they both got to about 98% and then said failure. So mine is a dodgy card and this software did do a recovery of some 250 JPG files totalling just over 13MB and some TAR files.
Very simple interface

This is the same version of TogetherShare Data Recovery given away in October 2022. It's almost portable -- running it without installation seems to add a single registry key -- but I *think* activation is tied to the copy of Windows where it's registered. Installation only adds the program's folder plus the registry gets one key for uninstall and one for togethershare. Unlike many of these recovery apps there is no choice between quick or fast and slow or deep scanning. It does allow you to export & import scan results, and it can be somewhat of a memory hog -- I let a scan run for several minutes, pausing it when RAM use went over 10GB. When I shut it down it stayed running for a few minutes to unwind / free that 10+ GB. File recovery does work, but with these apps in my experience your mileage will vary -- hopefully you'll recover the file(s) you need, but it's by no means guaranteed.
