Note that this software is not for general recovery of cell phone data. It is only for recovering data associated with the apparently popular WhatsApp Messenger, "a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS." WhatsApp gives you messaging capability on a PC and also works on most mobile operating systems.(www.whatsapp.com) If you don't use WhatsApp, you don't need today's giveaway.
However, Tenorshare also makes software for backing up and recovering many kinds of data on mobile devices running on iOS, or Android, and "any data from a (Windows or Mac) computer's hard drive, USB flash drive, camera, mobile phone, (or) MP3&MP4 player." On their website they offer free versions of some programs and many levels of recovery software for sale.
Installed, activated and ran the software for the first time successfully. It then advised me that there was no data. Is that WhatsApp data or no data whatsoever? It then wanted me to install a trial iPhone Data Recovery program. I only want my WhatsApp contacts, chat history etc to be restored. Maybe I'm missing something here.

Wozu soll das denn gut sein?
Den WhatsApp Chat Verlauf kann man doch einfach in der icloud mit sichern und durch 2x klicken wiederherstellen !
Wozu braucht man denn dazu ein zusätzliches Tool, dessen hier angebotene Downloaddatei zusätzlich noch mit versteckten Beigaben versetzt wurde.

Schon wieder eine Recovery Programm für das Eizeugs. Interessiert doch nur noch die Randgruppen. Schon wieder eine fette Bloatware. Was werden sie wieder jaulen und jodeln - was für ein Geschenk....Zum Glück ist in ein paar Stunden auch dieser Alptraum Vergangenheit.
