The setup.exe is a downloader. It downloads syncbird-x64.7z (on a 64 bits VM), that can be used as a semi-portable. The maker describes it as a smart alternative to iTunes, but it will download and install Apple drivers, if iTunes is not installed.
It puzzles me why someone would pay for third party software that probably needs to be updated after every serious iPhone/iPad OS update, when iTunes is free and guaranteed to work with Apple all hardware.

There's too much software around these days that you have to pay for to replace what is already available free.
The Apple version is freeware:

Ach, endlich, sieht sehr gut aus, auf den ersten Blick. Zeigt die App an. Die wollte ich schon lange samt inhalt speichern, um endlich wieder freien Platz auf dem Iphone zu haben. Es zeigt alle apps an! Doch.. weiter ist da NICHTS! Ich sah da keine Möglichkeit, diese abzuspeichern. Schade. War vielversprechend. Ich erwartete mir intuitive Bedienung und Abspeicherung, sodass ich im abgespeicherten Zustand ggf. Zugriff darauf habe. Wohl die logische, aber falsche Erwartung in diesem Fall.
