Man, I'm getting tired of the complaining on this site. You know, the underlying reason developers offer their wares FREE on GAOTD is to receive constructive criticism on how their product is filling the need and/or could be improved.
If I were a developer of some of these producsts, after reading many of the comments users give, I'd say giving my stuff away in GAOTD is not worth it. You complainers are going to spoil it for those who approach the giveaway with gratitude.
I check out the comments to see whether or not the GAOTD app is suitable for me to try out. And many times what I might say has already been said. There are apps that are more global in scope (utilites for example) and others that are specific and require that other apps are already installed (such as Word, Skype) and those geared toward devs (such as the Flash menu creators).
Not all apps are going to appeal to all members. So, if a particular giveaway does not fit the ticket, please quit clogging up the the comments section with whiny complaining. We really don't care if you can't use the product. Go cry to momma. You are getting the bloody thing for free - it is a gift, a privilege, not a right, nor is it your own private free software store.
Good grief, it's as if some people think GAOTD and their devs should read each mind and only provide items that fit everyone's needs.
So, prima donnas, if a product isn't tailor made for you, just pass it by, don't whine, wait till tomorrow or next week and maybe something will come along you can use - and be grateful for it. And if so, try giving some *constructive* criticism that will help the dev make improvements as they see fit.
Or, go get a computer science degree and learn how to code your own tailor made apps. Oh, and maybe you could offer them through GAOTD and experience the prima donnas from the other side of the picture.

I am annoyed with the offer as well, because of the skype only bit. However everyone who is writing comments this morning seems to be overlooking the fact that comment one clearly says that. Just ignore this offer, boycott the vendor and get on with life. It's just one day in the GOTD world. They give this stuff away for free, what more do you want!
Please note that Supertintin Skype Recorder requires Skype to be installed on the System: If you are (like many) running the portable version of Skype the "No stream to record" popup will indicate that no recording is being made.
@ Imtiger Software Team and GAOTD Team: It is always very useful to indicate whether the programs you release/offer are depending on other programs to be installed on the system... Especially bearing in mind that USB/U3 portable applications are so very popular... Skype being one of them!

I purchased the full-version (for Skype) about a week ago after researching several alternatives. Installed great on Win 7 x64 Home Premium and works like a charm for audio/video call recording. It's MY first time, I think, to have the experience of buying the full version of a program and then seeing it on GOTD! Ah well.
I have enjoyed many free software offerings from GOTD over the years, while passing on many more as something I just wasn't interested in; I've also uninstalled some I initially installed. That's what makes this site so great. FREE software! Download it if you're interested; pass if you're not, but really this should be a "No Whining Zone" folks! Thank you GOTD!

Also, zum Einen ist NICHT grundsätzlich verboten Gespräche mitzuschneiden. Wenn der Gesprächspartner davon und das warum weiß und nicht widersprochen hat ist es auch in Deutschland vollkommen legal. Es muss nicht einmal ausdrücklich zugestimmt werden. Ich selber zeichne z.B. sehr oft Gespräche auf, und zwar jedes Telefoninterview das ich führe - womit auch die Frage von #14 beantwortet wäre.
Leider ist dieses Programm nicht besonders doll - u.a. weil diese Version nur für Skype funktioniert. Und auch dort gibt es qualitativ höherwertige Lösungen. Grundsätzlich aber sehr gut das auch mal solche Tools hier auftauchen.

Das mitschnippeln is nicht veboten. Du darfst den Recorder allerdingens erst anwerfen, wenn du den Gesprächspartner gefragt hast und der zugestimmt hat.

Ich werde mir das Tool aber nicht besorgen, denn notfalls mache ein Hypercam an, bzw schneide den Sound auch so eben mit.

Mal ehrlich,wen interessiert es,was in Deutschland verboten ist?Erlaubt ist was gefällt!Nur her mit solchen tools,auch wenn ich es momentan nicht brauchen kann.Schöne Sache hier,nette Postings,ab und zu schöne tools und täglich erfreue ich mich an dem hohen Niveau dieser Plattform.Dafür besten Dank an den Veranstalter.Macht weiter so!

Mehrheitlich normale PC-user werden dieses tool sicherlich nicht benötigen.Wer es braucht soll es sich runter laden.Ob erlaubt oder nicht spielt keine Rolle,Verwendung solltest du dafür haben.Ich warte auf morgen,vielleicht kommt dann etwas Brauchbares.Keine Wertung.Vielen Dank GAOTD!
