Well, for what it does it looks good to me...so I can't figure out why it has received so many negative comments so far.
Of course, as unquestionable KING OF FREEBIES (LOL!!), I would never pay 50 bucks for a software like this GAOTD, not beecause I'm a stingy guy but because there are lots of FREE APPS out there which do even more things for FREE....
Obviously you should know them....IGNORANCE is STRENGHT, right?? LOL!!

This software looks good and is fairly easy to figure out quickly, the only thing with it is, that if you have spent more than five minutes using Gimp (gimp.org) then you can already do all of the things that this software does, for free. This software isn't very intuitive, as the teeth whitener, lipstick, and most of the other options, require you to use a pen and go over the parts that you want to color. The whitener even makes you have to go over it several times if the teeth need more than a little whitening. If you are a novice, and want something that you can use to edit you photos, try it, you might like it. It is simple to figure out, and very straight forward. You may have a little bit of difficulty using the brush, but with a little practice that will get better. If you are anything more than a novice, keep using Gimp, Photoshop, or whatever it is that you are already using.
Very unimpressed. It does a fair and easy job at what it does, but that's it. The popular freewares (Gimp, Irfanview, PhoXo) all do it better, and they do more. I saw no need to keep it as it brings nothing special to the table. And the $50 price tag is an absolute joke.
The only good thing i can say about this program (having worked with graphic programs for 15+ years) is GOTD install worked flawlessly as usual. The program itself, however, is a cruel joke you would only wish on an enemy. I can't imagine ever paying for this product.
At the end of the toolbar it has an option to add a dozen or so more toolbars via drop menu. No options to add buttons or anything to the toolbar itself. You may also hide the toolbar and Source Images, though I don't know why you would. The buttons are large and childlike. The concealer brush option doesn't attempt to match the color at all and when I attempted to it always came out white anyway.
Lipstick brush is a slightly transparent red and eye pencil slightly transparent black draw. Of the three photos I attempted to use, one disappeared from the folder and has not rematerialized, while another will have to be found and rescanned as it now says "Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x50 0x61". The Selection Marker only marks the screen in red, does NOT undo...ever. Clicking Original Image only shows you what your original image was but doesn't revert to it.
I did NOT save changes to my images, as they were HORRID. I did click the X to close and got no notification that my images were not saved but somehow it ate one of my photos anyway.
I can get a far higher quality program from Paint.Net, Gimp and even Microsoft Paint for free, and they don't eat my files. To charge someone $50 to finger paint their family photo is outrageous. I will absolutely be deleting this program now.
Anyone using a virtual app such as Sandboxie will no longer be able to test the applications the program installs directly in windows. In a sandbox the message you get is : "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." My question is what trash is beeing added to my operating system?
I call this bad business practice lucky for softwares that monitor installations.

@ Melly: Stimmt. Dieser Dreck ist wirklich nur schrecklich. Nicht einmal die wenigen Korrekturmöglichkeiten funktionieren so, wie es eigentlich sein müsste. So stellt sich zum Beispiel zunächst keinerlei Reaktion des Programms ein, wenn man den Lippenstift verwendet. Völlig irre muss erst der Marker danach verwendet werden. Danach verschwinden Schattierungen fast vollständig. Und es kommt noch schlimmer: Wenn man nach 'zig Änderungen einen Fehler macht und den korrigiert, dann sind auch die Dutzende Arbeitsschritte von vorher gleich mit verschwunden. Das Programm verhält sich unpredictable. So etwas gehört also eindeutig nicht auf den PC, sondern in die Mülltonne.
Danke für den Freeware-Tip und deine ehrliche Meinung.

lässt sich nicht installieren! system wird zu 100% ausgelastet und es dauert ewig bis mal ein fenster aufgeht. da steht dann irgendwas von connect, aber passieren tut nichts mehr. habe dann nach 5 minuten die anwendung über den task-manager beendet. ist auch merkwürdig, dass das original vom hersteller nur ca. halb so gross ist, wie die hier angebotene version. da ist natürlich jede menge platz für versteckte programme die sich heimlich in mein system einnisten, darauf kann ich aber verzichten.

ich lese die kommentare grundsätzlich hier immer, bevor ich poste.
Ein Grund für Installationsprobleme bei Giveaway könnte sein, dass die geschnallt haben, dass alles früher oder später auf den einschlägigen Warez - Seiten landet. Viele One-Click-Hoster haben endgültig dichtgemacht. Megaupload durch das FBI. Sharingmatrix, Hotfile, Fileserve, Mediafire, usw. zensieren in letzter Zeit massiv das Internet, d.h. es können beispielsweise nur noch Dateien von mir runtergeladen werden, die ich auch hochgeladen habe. Die Hintergründe sind unterschiedlich, bei Hotfile war es z.B. eine Millionenklage, dann haben die den Schwanz eingezogen, um das zu verhindern, eine Klage eben. In den USA ticken die Uhren sowieso anders als in D.
Das alles ist ein offenes Geheimnis, was auch ein Grund sein könnte, dass hier oft nur vermeinlicher Schrott angeboten wird. Ich finde, das ist schon mit ein Grund, zumal Giveaway amerikanisch ist.....nur so ein offener Gedanke....

Ein ganz nettes Tool, aber bitte: Stellt um Himmels Willen die Sprache nicht auf deutsch. Außer man möchte lustige Texte lesen wie

Sonst aber recht gute Funktionen und daher für manche sicher gut zu gebrauchen.

Der Godt keywapper hat sich irgendwie verschlechtert. War er früher rund 1megabyte groß, sind es jetzt schon 6 Megabyte. Frage mich schon, wozu? Was will man uns da unterjubeln? Platz genug für 10.000 Trojaner. Ich öffne die Giveaways jetzt nur noch mit aktiviertem Antivirus auf höchster Empfindlichkeitsstufe, auch wenn Gote beteuert, es hätte noch nie einen Virus. Bei ihnen gegeben, trau schau wem.

Vielen Dank für den Tip, wenn sich auch die Mühe nicht lohnt zunächst von GotD die Installationsdateien runter zu Laden um auf den Freischaltcode zugreifen zu können und sich dann von der SwHP die Setupdatei runterladen muss, nur weil ein verf...ter Keywrapper nicht funktioniert.
Die erhebliche Differenz zwischen dem von GotD heute angebotenen Download und SwHp- Download von beinahe 5 Mb lässt Raum für Fragen und Spekulationen.
Prog. für Amateure evtl. geeignet. Bearbeitete Pics werden erheblich verschandelt. Benutzeroberfläche im Win 3.1 Stil und dazu äußerst begrenzter Funktionsumfang.
Ganz klar alle Daumen und auch die Zehen runter.
GotD macht sich selbst allmälich überflüssig.
Ständig ist irgendwelche Schundsoftware am Start, die sich inzwischen (wie nicht nur heute) auch nur noch unter viel Mühe installieren lässt. GotD wieder besser werden.

Die Setupdatei aus der Herstellerseite ist 6.71 MB, die hier im komrimiertem Zustand 11.6 MB groß. An der Readme-Datei kann es kaum liegen!. Bei mir funktionniert das Herunterladen mit GAOTD auch nicht...

Der Keywrapper mit 12.169 MB produziert nun 2 we2xx.exe und ist in Relation zur PhotoMakeup.exe mit 6.5 MB wesentlich größer als bisher und das Entpacken dauert auch deutlich länger.

hab gerade mal paar augenringe entfernt, funktioniert total einfach .
an die meckerer die kein englisch können , es stellt sich sogar automatisch auf deutsch ein .

Liebes GAOTD Team,
leider funktioniert die Setup.exe seit einigen Tagen nicht mehr.
Erst läuft nach dem Aufruf die CPU längere Zeit auf 100%, dann kommt irgendwann das "Connecting to GAOTD" und dann idlet das System weiter, aber es tut sich nichts mehr.
Falls Ihr da etwas an der Setup geändert habt, so scheint es bei manchen Systemen Probleme zu geben (Win7 Ult 32bit, Netbook Atom N450)
