Installed and registered with problems on a Win 10 Pro 64 bit system. The GOTD installer didn't work for me, so I downloaded the installer from the original site. An installation with many registry changes and a "watch folder" service. Due to old fileformats many (very old) DLL's, backk to 2000+.
The big installation file is mainly due to the different RAW converters.
A company without name and address. And a moderate claim:
"and the most efficient batch processing in any software of this type. . hmmm...
The only difference between the "standard" and the "pro" version is the command line interface and if you don't need the "watch folder", than you can install the "Lite" version.

Of course I could not test all 545 input formats and the corresponding 56 output formats, but the RAW conversion of my digital cameras.
A modern looking resizable interface opens, you add your files or folders. Now you can convert, apply image corrections (in my case) and you'll find the result in a subfolder result.
My test with camera raw and the Adobe DNG format worked without problems.

But the white balance in RAW (Canon CRW) files did not work in my short test as expected, neither in the automation mode nor in the select manual mode.

A complete conversion tool, does basically what it claims. I like the interface, cool and modern.
Uninstalled via reboot
Thank you very much, krypteller!
Registration on their website gives immediately your personal serial number. Activation over internet, manually, Email or per FAX. The program works on Windows 10 and has a Windows Presentation Foundation Interface.
A caution using this program for conversion from Adobe File Formats. I do not have time today to check which version it will convert, but assuming it will read Adobe Illustrator 8-9. In my case it did not convert out of the box the Adobe Illustrator CS6 format, neither to be readable by Adobe Photoshop CS6 (you are required to fiddle around if you have no Adobe Creative Suite).
Standard image file formats are OK, but when it is required to change to DWG or DWF, I highly recommend using Autodesk Viewers (free and paid) that just do the job adequately.
For game developers, this program supports DDS, but you may want to keep using nVIDIA plugins for Photoshop (highly recommended, also because it's free with way more options). With today's giveaway the DDS format is non-standard and will fail in your game engine architecture misserably.
To conclude,
if you really depend on this software, don't use it blindly and think everything works just fine, because it might not work fine. Use alternative methods to check the result image with commercial or free products and see for yourself.
There is no silver bullet as to free alternatives because the file formats are extensively broad than the average image converter.
As much as I value Karl's opinion on a daily basis; I have to disagree with:- "The only difference between the “standard” and the “pro” version is the command line interface and if you don’t need the “watch folder”, than you can install the “Lite” version."
The lite version only includes a handful of basic formats and not the 500/55.
Personally, i've been scanning a lot of old documents into PDF recently which need white balance enhancing + other touch-ups = this GAOTD edition does the job perfectly. Especially the fact I can batch process the same enhancements to all my PDF's in one go. The lite version does not include the .PDF format.
It has all the usual facilities you would expect IE. crop, rezise, contrast, colour balance, hue, sharpen, blur, noise, auto-crop, auto-resize to name just a few. The only thing it can't do is Auto Straighten :( Also, it can't do PDF-PDF directly. It will separate the pages into individual PNG or TIFF and then you can batch them all back together and save as a PDF...
It's a keeper for me. Thank you GAOTD.
I have this software since 23 June 2015. It is for general use. If you are a demanding photographer looking for exceptional RAW converter, you may like to try elsewhere.
e.g. Capture One Pro, DXO Optics Pro, Lightroom, Photo Ninja, Nik's Dfine, etc....
In addition, each camera manufacturer will have their own bundled software for their high end models' RAW converter.
Which one is best for you depends on your personal taste and what brand/model of digital camera you own. This is a moving target, as each year sees new camera top models being introduced with unique selling features and new technical specifications.
Interesting, that their Readme.txt file says "Strictly non-commercial usage", yet their program reads/writes CAD files, which are primarily created for commercial use.
That being said, our customers often request that our CAD drawings be converted to PDF. So, for testing purposes, I installed this program on my home computer, and then imported one of our AutoCAD 2004 drawings (.DWG). It is of a boat wiring harness assembly, spread out on four production tables, with a total size of 2FT x 32FT in size. The resulting output is surprisingly small, 819KB in size. However, there is no "smoothing". All circles, curves, and rounded corners are all segmented hex shapes.
Don't know if I'm going to keep this or not.

Wann hat eigentlich das Niveau dieser täglichen Zwangs-Abgaben seinen Tiefpunkt erreicht? 107 MB für einen Converter? $50 für was?

Und was passiert?
