For some reason, the registration broke up with the error message that a certain file could not be saved in the ProgramData folder. Just in case anyone has the same problem: The installation went fine after I re-installed the program, but this time starting setup.exe with administrator rights (click with the right mouse buttom and look for the option to start a program with these additional rights).
