We had had several products from this company, this one I see for the first time.
A small interface opens, you can choose several languages, add a PDF and convert this. In a single column, text does what it claims, it does what it claims also in a multi column text. A small utility for a quick PDF to TXT conversion in simple PDF structures, a useful little helper.

2. Click the 'License' button (TOP-RIGHT, SECOND) on the main interface, and then click 'Input license key...' menu item.

I was going to pass on this but then remembered that I had a few software instruction manuals that were in Chinese that I wanted to translate, so put them through this so that I could then paste the text into Google Translate.
Sadly, because the PDF's were password protected, the software was unable to convert them.
But then I tried a laptop user guide and was pleasantly surprised by the results.
I was very sceptical of the claim to be able to try and retain formatting but bearing in mind the constraints that such a task would have, it does a fair job of trying.

Kann mich nicht überzeugen. Ich arbeite mit diversen PDF-Editoren, brauche daher kein eigenständiges tool mit Jahresupgrades und Rabatt für lebenslange Lizenzen, schon gar nicht, wenn ich davon ausgehen muss, dass ich länger lebe, als diese "Firma". Alle anderen können sich natürlich auch über diese Wundertüte dumm und dämlich freuen. Schönen Sonntag!

PDF-Inhalte zu kopieren und als Text zu speichern. Braucht man dafür ab sofort ein $20 tool? Und heute sogar lebenslange Upgrades zum halben Preis. Klingt ja schon fast wie eine Drohung, kommt mir jedoch nicht auf die Platte. Ich benötige nicht täglich irgendwelche Konverter. Schönes Wochenende und gut ist!

Kostenloses Ghostscript + GSView. Edit/Text extract. Vorausgesetzt, die PDF-Datei enthält Text (bei vielen "günstigen" PDF-Generatoren wird Text in der PDF zum Bild!), kann dieser in Datei gespeichert werden.

STRG+C und STRG+V können auch PDF Inhalte kopieren und anschließend als Text speichern.
Dieses Tool ist völlig überflüssig und zudem - wie bei GAOTD gewohnt - ist der Download mit Schadsoftware verseucht.
