I am still getting the "failed to connect to the activation server" message - have tried a few times for the past hour.

Giveaway of the Day, Can't even get the license key - internal server error all the time. Not much point in proceeding.
Have Windows 10 - have downloaded and installed, then uninstalled and re downloaded and installed and still cannot see the ribbon bar. So can't get to the 'File' menu to complete the installation. Bizarre! I'd really like to try the program but this time wasting is putting me off!
Print out the readme file and follow it to the letter -- looks like an excellent program made less effective by a convoluted registration and activation routine. A direct link to a tutorial would be a big help. The program doesn't have a traditional windows top menu bar so it initially takes a lot of fussing around to discover where things are and how to make it useful. If you are careful in following the readme file you can get it all working, but registration and activation are not intuitive nor follow the practice of most other programs.

Komme leider erst jetzt zum posten:
Am Nachmittag war der Registration-Server wieder stabil, ein, wie ich finde, sehr gutes Programm, mit dem man schnell und einfach ansprechende Businessgrafiken zaubern kann. Rundum zufrieden jetzt :-) Vielen Dank für die umgehende und kompetente Reaktion auf meinen Hilferuf, ich nehme alles zurück und behaupte jetzt das Gegenteil

No problems with installation and activation (Win 10 64bit not on HDD C system-partition)). I prefer Visio and/or MS Office. If you're working with an additional Monitor, maybe that menues are hidden behind the working aera. On the primary screen all informations seem to be available.
Installieren mit Setup.exe, danach Aktivierungscode aus der readme-Datei anfordern, war innerhalb von Sekunden in meiner Mailbox. Sind bei der Erstinstallation über das Setup noch etliche Optionen ausgegraut, unter Pulldownmenü FILE (oben links) ganz unten About anwählen und es erscheint das Aktivierungsfenster mit Username und Password (Kopieren aus der der Mail: Giveaway of the Day software account for MyDraw 2.0 und den Username von Login übernehmen - eigene E-Mailadresse). Das Password habe ich ohne Leerzeichen kopiert und eingefügt. Das geöffnete MyDraw schließen und erneut öffnen, die ausgegrauten Optionen sind jetzt verfügbar.
Ich hatte meine Probleme dadurch, dass ich für solche Programme gerne meinen großen, zweiten Bildschirm nehme und sich meine Font-Menüs im Hintergrund versteckten. Offenbar ist dieses Programm nur für den Primär-Bildschirm entwickelt worden. Ich hab noch eine 2000-er Visioversion und mache meine Ablaufdiagramme mit MS-Office 2010 Word/PPt. Übrigens ist es ganz hübsch mit den Puzzleteilchen zu experimentieren (Zusammensetzen, beschriften, drehen - lassen sich sicherlich auch in MS und open-Office exportieren und animieren ...)

Irgendwie ist das immer wieder ein Graus mit dem Registrieren der Software. Ich bin genau nach Anleitung vorgegangen, sehe auch im Account das 1 Lizenz vorhanden ist, die noch nicht aktiviert wurde.
Ich befolge dann das:
Launch MyDraw and create a new blank drawing
Click the File menu and then About
Enter the username (e-mail) and password of your MyDraw account
Click the Activate button to activate the software
Restart MyDraw for changes to take effect
Ich öffne in MyDraw eine neue Zeichnung, rufe das About-Fenster auf, gebe meine Account-Infos ein und bestätige, sehe blitzschnell die Meldung "Getting available license state", gefolgt von der Meldung "No available license...".
Nach mehreren Versuchen erhalte ich jetzt die Info "Failed to connect activation server. Please try again later".

ich habe keine Ahnung , aber das alte " Computer aus und wieder eínschalten " hilft in vielen Fällen

Axel Blass, ich habe mich vorher auf der MyDraw Homepage (https://www.mydraw.com/) mit den Daten eingeloggt.
Ob das etwas ändert bezweifel ich, vielleicht bringt es aber doch etwas. Außerdem man kann dort das Passwort ändern. (Die Passwort-Änderungs-Mail hat bei mir rund 5 Minuten gebraucht, bis sie empfangen wurde).
Bei mir funktionierte es tatsächlich problemlos.
