So many software under different names, under different company trademarks - and under the hood exactly the same code - like today, the second hand shop from DiskInternals.

I trapped yesterday in such a case. Simply didn't know that doPDF and novaPDF are sharing the same code and the same company. One name for the "free market", the other name for paying customers. Since the PDF print driver did not generate a Softland directory in the program folder, I had no idea that this was the same version...
I would like to see, that the installers reports : "existing software/driver/product... detected. Do want you want to update/upgrade/replace ..."

As for krypteller's advice about try again, well I did try many times and it gave the same message every time and I dont have all day to keep trying it.
Thanks but no thanks, GOTD: there's little commercial future nowadays for one-trick-pony paid-for software that not only doesn't do anything better than freeware like Piriform's excellent Recuva, the prices being asked would get you an external backup drive to which free backup software will safely archive your stuff anyway.
Time is marching on, and no developer is immune from that, be it 'recovery' specialists (who thrived only because backup media was once so expensive), 'disk defragmenter' developers (who thrived only because hard drives were so much, much smaller than they are today), 'spam mail protection' specialists (who thrived only until folks figured out how to use server-side filtering before spam got anywhere near their desktop in-boxes) and 'registry cleaner' publishers (whose reason for existence ceased somewhere around the end of the last century.)
For this developer to be seeking (in the UK) the sum of £32.33 GBP -- including a highly dubious 20% VAT -- for software last updated more than two years ago is laughable; if Mareew wants a profitable tomorrow for itself, it needs to update its own understanding of today's marketplace, never mind its software.
