Comparing to the yesterday's Disk Drill this one really does recover deleted files, not only browser cache and temp files, and scans so much faster!
And you can choose what type of files you want to recover in the Wizard, really neat.

This product has a misleading name! This cannot "Unerase" it undeletes or recovers deleted or quick formated partitions lost files that have not been overwritten with other data but does not and cannot possibly recover files that were erased from the hard drive using procedures that perform that function like heidi.ie eraser program, even if you choose the weakest eraser setting of single pass of zeros. Erase free space with a single pass and this will recover nothing because it simply cannot "Unerase".
Can this bring back files that have been shreded with a file shreder?
Taylor, instead of a simple "NO" coming from me, I copy/paste the following phrase from another site, today.
All data wiped (or "shreded") have no chance to be recovered by any data recovery software.
I could not find any reputable reviews on this software, which should have been submitted for review. Won't touch it for that reason.
chad , a silly statement especially if the program is a new one. Giveawayoftheday often serves as a launching ground for new programs. When a program is released to the market someone has to be first to review it. If you do not want to participate in early review of file then do not download it. But it is hardly fair to the developer to publicly say that you are not going to download it because you have not been able to locate a review. There is even a chance that you missed a review.
