I had been using Malawarebytes Free for ages and about a month ago started having problems with it updating. For some reason it saw 'no internet connection' and that continued even after reinstalling and that got frustrating. Because of that, I decided to try the free version of IObit Malware Fighter and have been satisfied with it thus far.
I realize some people are disappointed by the 6 month license offer but reality is, these are businesses with overhead and salaries to pay and need to make money. Of course, they hope you'll try it, like it and buy it. Is a free 6 month term to use and test a software really so bad?
For anyone who has the free version already on their PC, I simply input the registration code and it updated to the Pro version without having to run the installation files.

It seems that AVG does not like IObit Malware Fighter to work along so it turns to "passive mode" until IMF is uninstalled.

I can use only the free version. No activation code transmitted in any form.
After installing and launching this software Windows10 has frozen out.
Oswald, Licence code was downloaded with the file in the read me........just copy & paste into the program bottom right of the window below "activate"
it seems that the program offered is the free version and not the pro version

I downloaded the program but I could only activate the FREE version, not the PRO version, I tried to copy the key given in the text file but this was found to be "invalid".
Please help me to get a working PRO version.
