HD Sentinel is my goto disk monitoring tool. Been using it for years and it has saved me from lost data due to HD and SSD crashes. It's part of my essential toolkit.

I have previous version 5.7 from GOTD. Can I install this overt-top of that or should I uninstall it first.

I have used this program for years. It warned me that my HDD was failing with bad sectors and I could replace it before I lost my data. I would not be without this program. I have the Pro version, which I won years ago so I have no need to download this version.
