Installed and registered with problems on a Win 8.1 ro 64 bit system. Double checked email... the email with the key does not arrive in the next minutes. It's a long time, that I have seen such an old fashioned installation procedure.

Wulf-Dieter Lugert was a university professor for music education. He has been working with music software since the late 1970s. He loves to play the piano. Dieter is leading the FORTE project, and is responsible for FORTE meeting your demands.

This is something different, not the usual PDF converters or watermark applications. Something for the musician in you. To be correct : for the beginning musician...
Upon start an understandable interface opens, you can start with a wizard or with templates (piano solo or two viola for example), you see a blank note sheet and you can enter the notes.
There is an option to read music sheets as scan, but you have to download it for $29.
The input of notes is easy, the learning curve for using the program is flat. With the built in player you hear your notifications.
With this very basic edition you can make a simple tune, for more voices and more than four tracks you need the other editions.
A nice and well tested piece of software with a long market history.
Does what it claims - but limited for the beginner. If you are a prof you'll know this software anyhow.
Be warned. It is easier to USE the software than to COMPOSE a good song. LOL
I'll keep it, maybe I will become Beethoven II or Beethove III.

Installed fine and received my activation code, but I can't find where to put it.
The program runs and so far is very easy to use. For anyone who wants to do notation, this program is working very well.

Kommentar Nr. 1 ist eine Ich-Botschaft. Der Kommentar greift keinen anderen Besucher dieser Seite an. Kann man das von dem Gesabber unter den Nummern 5, 6 und 8 auch sagen?
Solange jemand schreibt, ob er das Programm nützlich findet, ist doch alles in Ordnung. Völlig überflüssig ist jedoch solches Gesabber, das nur den Kommentar eines anderen Besuchers zum Thema hat. Man muss halt auch ertragen können, dass andere Menschen nicht so denken wie man selbst.

mal ein programm das man brauchen kann, wenn man sich damit beschäftigt...wie bei anderen eben auch.
aber schade, den ganzen tag keine mail mit dem aktivierungscode....mit 3 mailadressen mit "_" oder ohne sonderzeichen....egal, keine reaktion.
wenn diese einfachsten dinge nicht funktionieren, so brauche ich das programm von dieser firma auch nicht.
leider heute daumen runter auch ohne es zu probieren....

Die Kommentarfunktion auf GOTD dient zur Beurteilung eines angebotenen Programmes und soll anderen interessierten Usern weiterhelfen.
Alltägliches stupides Gebrummel, verbunden mit dem Ehrgeiz, hier an erster Stelle veröffentlicht zu werden, und gepaart mit grosser Kreativität, ständig einen neuen Namen zu erfinden, ist absolut sinnfrei.
Dass man Programme "nicht gebrauchen" kann, interessiert auch keinen.
Die Toleranz des GOTD Teams ist wirklich zu bewundern.
