Looks a nice tool to me...but why to pay 20 bucks to convert an ePUB book to PDF if you can read both formats using a FREE & PORTABLE tool like SUMATRA (PDF, ePub, MOBI, CHM, XPS, DjVu, CBZ and CBR reader) ?

Nevertheless, I believe that it would have been much more useful having a tool designed to perform the opposite convertion (PDF ==> ePUB, Mobi etc...), so as to read a PDF file on several portable devices like iPad, Kindle, Sony eReader, Kobo, Nexus etc...what do you make of it dudes?

My 2 cents for today's giveaway... (hey, how about focusing on different and more useful apps, not easily replacable with FREE alternatives???)
Calibre. That alone can do/handle so much more, e.g., device selection, conversions, manages libraries, grabs covers, meta-data, etc. and its freeware.
Not a very good app, always crashes!

This does a pretty good job of converting ePUB to PDF. It allows you to pick the output device that you're intending to view the PDF on, but it's hidden behind the button with PDF on it under the caption 'Select an output device for PDF;' Perhaps a dropdown list with the devices listed might be more clear.
The problem with the program is, it only converts ePUB to PDF, nothing else. You can download the free calibre ePUB reader and it can convert between many different formats and gives you more control over the output. Saying that there might be too many options for some people and they might prefer the simplicity of selecing the file they want to convert and clicking on the big button saying 'Convert'.
But I think that $19.99 is too much to ask for ePUB to PDF Converter. If it could convert PDF to ePUB and between other formats it might be worth it as a simple one-click converter for someone who wants to convert from one format to anothe with the minimum of fuss.
Does ok, for the most part. Some conversions I had to do twice. First came up with an error box(that was empty except an OK button?) I agree with #'s 5 & 6. Calibre can do the same thing with a lot more options.

Das Programm ist nur Müll. Von 50 Epubs wurde nicht eines konvertiert. Ständig kommen Fehler. Am besten gleich wieder deinstallieren.

ePUB to PDF konvertieren, macht doch wirklich jeder und das täglich. Wieder ein "Geschenk", das auf dem Markt für $20 nicht verkäuflich ist. Bei GAOTD bekommst du alles, ob du es brauchen kannst oder nicht, ob es was taugt oder nicht. Dafür gestreckt den Daumen nach unten, die Dauerjubler jodeln lassen und keinen Dank an Niemand.

Das ist ja so unnütz wie ein Kropf am Hals. Bis auf die Amazon Kindle Gurken kann so ziemlich jeder Ebook Reader das epub Format wiedergeben. Wozu also das ganze in PDF umwandeln. Selbst zum lesen von epubs auf dem PC braucht es keine Wandlung. Einfach calibre nutzen.
