Dumo ist ein benutzerfreundlicher Treiber-Updater, der stets dafür sorgt, dass auf euerem PC stets die neuesten Treiber-Versionen installiert sind.
Der Name steht für Drivers Update Monitor und dieses schlaue Tool führt regelmäßig einen automatischen System-Scan aus.

I've downloaded installed and activated with no hustle, immediately showed apps which are up to date as well as outdated software, and left choice to me to either update them or leave, I take this in positive side as there some apps which I do not want automatic update, there some apps I got from GOTD once updated they loose their activation and become trial vers.
Nigel, unless the drivers you are directed to update are not causing any problems but the ones you find are for different OEM configurations that do cause you problems!
ALL the driver updaters I've seen are so hell bent on apearing useful that they do not differentiate between system manfacturers drivers and can for example offer you dell driver packages for HP machines or visa versa which can be VERY detrimental to every program run on the system including those provided by GAOTD. Including the licenses of software tied to hardware hashes when a device gets a new hardware ID due to a different manufacturers driver is installed at the behest of a driver updater program that thinks it knows best.
If your system is NOT broken don't try to fix it!

This is a driver updater program, not a software updater program, DUMo, not SUMo their sister program. Therefore programs downloaded from this site are not affected in any way.
Plenty times it shows "available" updates, but there are none or they "exist" only via Dumo-Database, which doesn't offer you the link to it or it just makes version-numbers up etc.pp.
Sumo has the same issues, but for apps.
Driver-Booster is better, but not perfect either.
Just go to => https://www.necacom.net/ <= and do it yourself or go to => https://forums.mydigitallife.net/ <= and you might find the right section, where other mates keep you up2date.
PS:
It's sad, that DUMO and SUMO are not living up to my / our expectations, because I would buy them both.

I have been using DUMo and SUMo for a while now. I only run them occasionally to check if there are updates available.
I have other software obtained from GAOTD that also checks for driver updates but DUMo is my preferred option. In my experience all of these types of programmes will give false positives. They all seem to just check if there is a driver with a higher version number without checking for compatibility so I only use the results as a guide.
Other programmes I have used have automatically made changes without consent, ignoring the settings I had chosen. DUMo hasn't so I feel safer using this. I prefer to download updates from the official site or via Windows Update.

KCSoftwares stehen bei mir ziemlich oben auf der schwarzen Liste. Da werden Alphaversionen gegen Geld abgegeben. Meldet euch in ein paar Jahren, wenn ihr wisst, was ihr tut!

Linkt nur auf die Homepage des Herstellers, nicht einmal direkt zum Treiber-Update. Völlig sinnlos!

Zum Anzeigen der Treiberversion oder finden der Homepage gut genug. Als Updateprogramm an sich eher Wertlos, denn es verweist nur auf die Herstellerseite oder zu Google-Suche. Man muss sich selbst bemühen, den richtigen Download zu finden...
Weiters ist die Information auch eher fraglich...es zeigte mit einige falsch an. z.B. die "Realtek High Definition Audio".
Dabei gab es eine ältere Versionsnummer an, als meine bereits installierte.
Gut gemeint, aber ich habe es wieder vom System entfernt, es gibt sicher bessere Alternativen, trotzdem Danke für das Angebot....
