Useless for an AC speed device. No statistics for it, only A/B/G/N. Missing AC. Also the 'wireless' and 'Access Point' buttons always tell you to select a NETWORK. However since it doesn't work for AC speed it seems no choices are shown for network.
Only option is 'DEBUG' but that doesn't seem to do anything?
It could be my Network Adapter, Netgear A6200 AC one? Web site shows V1.0.0 showing AC networks.
Totally useless for me.
Registered OK using values in README for what it is worth.
DELETED now.
another bug... I downloaded the ZIP of this from KCSoftware site which is supposed to be the portable build but it is not... it stores its settings file and log to %APPDATA%\KC Softwares\dot11Expert and not in the folder the executable is run from, leaving stuff behind on the host PC which portable programs should not do.
Odd bug in this ... it lists the SSID I am connected to twice in the left hand panes network list... exactly th same details it just duplicates it for some odd reason... Also shows nothing about what variation of the 802.11n specification is currently in use and what the real capabilities are like 20MHz or 40MHz channel width and max theoretical bitrate. Or channel congestion or cross channel AP's that are within a couple of channels away from the standard best practice channel spacings of 1, 6 and 11. It has now ceased to show any other nearby AP's just the duplicates of the one I am currently connected to oh after a few mins they came back. Too inconsistent scanning results as well as lacking information and why the unnecesary attempt to upsell Dumo program with the added Drivers Update button as if it had something to do with the functionality of THIS program? Oh the other AP's have vanished again... I'd hate to be on their networks if they were really as intermittent as this program portrays them as!
Worthless. Didn't recognize or display anything. Revo to the rescue.
Not bad - installed and registered without problems - same with portable version.
But - free Nirsoft WifiInfoView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wifi_information_view.html) and
free Nirsoft WirelessNetView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_network_view.html)
shows a lot of and more information and has a downloadable german language pack too (if needed -:} ).
