The Most Powerful Windows Data Recovery Software ??????
Very simple software
You cannot even choose the directory for files that can be retrieved. This involves scanning the entire disk or partition.
I suggest to the developer to go and see what RECUVA or EASEUS data recovery (freeware versions) do.
Windows Defender stops the install indicating the setup.exe file is from an unknown publisher.

There is no "Upgrade to pro" on the main screen. Is the program automatically activated?
Smats, I just installed it and it says "Do Your Data Recovery 5.8 Professional" along the top. I previously had version 5.5 installed so I reckon the old registration info just carried over. What does it say across the top on yours?

Die gelöschten Dateien verschiedener Sat-Boxen haben die kürzlich hier angebotenen Tools von Lazesoft und Eassos im Original wiederhergestellt. Sie sind sofort problemlos abspielbar und mit Haenlein HD4 zu verarbeiten. - Wirklich prima!
Bei dem jetzt angebotenen Tool erhalte ich SWF-Files, die ich weder öffnen noch konvertieren kann. Das Ergebnis ist ziemlich identisch mit den ebenfalls vor kurzem bei GOTD angebotenen Tools von iCare. - Für mich unbrauchbar!

Ich glaube, der war auch brauchbar. Aus akt. Anlass habe ich jedes Tool für Recovery heruntergeladen.
Am besten bisher ist meiner Meinung nach aber: Easy Drive Data Recovery, das hier auch angeboten wurde!
Der hat eine hohe Trefferquote und stellt die Dateien auch mit Endung wieder her. Das taten andere nicht unbedingt.
Externe HDD's an USB-Ports älterer Geräte, bei denen die Ports schon etwas wackelig oder "ausgeleiert" sind, neigen zu Ausfällen; insbesondere wenn es die kleinen 2,5 Zoller ohne externen Strom-Anschluss sind. Damit habe ich 2 Stück "gehimmelt" bevor mir das klar wurde.
