I installed again to see, if there is anything new... the EXE has a current date. Don't see any real changes.
I made some examples (increase by 400% from the famous pizza files) to show the different effects of resizing:

Test, what is the best interpolation for your kind of picture. Have fun. From my last comment:
"A well made small utility. Does what it claims. And a claim (*) No special knowledge required – that’s correct if you use the default values.
Uninstalled via reboot, I'll use my existing software for that.

Downloaded and installed Batch Picture Resizer 6.2, nice application.
However:
So far, I have used every application named on this page, PhotoScape is a very good tool. However, the complete suite of XnView software which is free for personal or non-commercial use is outstanding, and my first choice (and available for many platforms). Besides the normal conversion and organizing of images, I also do some converting of objects between racing simulators, XnView has features that most high end applications don't include.
In conclusion, I personally use both XnView and PhotoScape as my go to tools for resizing and conversion.
A strong software that can batch resize, watermark, convert format, rename photos...The quality of the output pictures depends on the input ones. Basicly, it can keep original quality and easy to use for novices. But for me, I don't like its interface. Uninstalled, thanks anyway.

Irfanview ist eine sehr gute Alternative die noch wesentlich mehr kann - und das kostenlos. Wird stetig weiterentwickelt und ist ein sehr mächtiges Werkzeug welches ich schon weit über 10 Jahre nutze.

Sich dafür ein kommerzielles tool zu installieren? Im Leben nicht! Das kann jede vernünftige Bildbearbeitung ganz nebenbei. $ 30 ist eine maßlose Frechheit. Klar muss das hier heute angebiedert werden, für diesen Phantasiepreis kauft das kein normaler Mensch. Ab dafür und keramisch entsorgt. Keinen Dank!

With this simple and cheap program, you can resize any amount of images quickly - ha, ha, ha - für $30? Dafür braucht niemand ein eigenständiges Murkstool. Kann jedes Freeware-Programm. Ab dafür, kein Bedarf und kein Dank - und Ostern ist gerettet.
