Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system.
A German company with all legal information as required (name, address, tax-number…).
This is Ashampoo Photo Commander 11.1.8, the company is known for promoting the latest version by giveaway for free the previous versions. The new version 12 is on the market since some month for $ 49,99.
We had had version 11 on August 6, 2014. Here are the old reviews:

Today's version is an update from 2014/09/17. For Ashampoo a rather new one.
The software is good & well tested and Ashampoo is a company strong in marketing. Without that, they would not be a successful as they are.
If you can live with the last year version, than take this. It is an excellent and complete photo tool. There are so many test on the web, that I need not to add the 154th version.
I'll keep it, it replaces my "old" version 11, which I use quite regularly without problems.
This is a nice program and worth the download if you have a need for a picture program. If you installed the previous offer on Jan 7, you don't need this. You can upgrade to this free from the program. Just be careful not to let in install version 12. Thank you GOTD team and Ashampoo GmbH & Co.
Thanks to you and Karl for the heads up that we can install this newer version of "11" from inside our already installed version. That saved a LOT of time.

Others have mentioned that those that have previously installed version 11, can update within the program. Here is the routine:
1) Open your already installed version 11 of Ashampoo Photo Commander 11.
2) At the top of the window, (to the left of "help"), click on 'My Shampoo'.
3) Click on "Check for new versions, (online update)" and follow the prompts.
It seems impossible getting the free license key. Clicked on the button several times, but nothing happens.
English is not my first language, so I might do something wrong, though I don't think so.

Der Photo Commander wird von Version zu Version besser weil sie immer stabiler funktioniert. Schön, die 11er Version ist so oder so schon kostenlos zu bekommen ist aber trotzdem ein super Programm da Anfänger gut mit arbeiten können und auch für etwas "versiertere" User genug Möglichkeiten vorhanden sind sich zu "entfalten"....
Und wer die ab und zu aufpoppende Werbung als lästig empfindet -den stört wahrscheinlich auch die Fliege an der Wand. Wegklicken - und Ruhe ists. Dauert noch nicht mal 5 Sekunden. Oder gleich die Verbindung zum Internet unterbinden - dann ist auch Ruhe.

Das einzigste tool aus Oldenburg war bis zur Version 12 das Burning Studio. Inzwischen ist es reinste Bloatware, völlig überladen, gleich gefühlte 100 Sprachen werden mitgeliefert, ganz abgesehen von der penedranten und völlig überflüssigen Werbung. Nein, von Ashampoo habe ich mich endgültig verabschiedet. Danke nein!

gibt es bei chip, computerbild etc.
dank guter firewall mit programmsteuerung kann man die lässtige werbung auch entgültig abstellen
verbindung zum internet für dieses programm geblockt und adee werbung
jedenfall funktioniert es bei mir sehr gut so :D

Ich habe es geladen und installiert, es unter einer Wegwerfadresse registriert und anschließend wieder gelöscht. Es war einfach enttäuschend. Für blutige Anfänger sicherlich der Hit.Grüße nach Oldenburg!

Es ist ganz egal ob Oldware 11 oder Sonderangebot 12. Das tool ist inzwischen die reinste Bloatware ohne große Einstellungsmöglichkeiten.
