Wow, we seem to be getting many video-related apps these days.
Encountered some problems with this GiveAway - please read below:
Video Converter downloaded/installed/registered fine on Vista Home Premium 32-bit OS. However, the other two programs (Video Joiner and Media2 MP-3) did not install properly. I received Runtime Errors and Microsoft Register errors when trying to install both of them.
I then tried to install both programas via "Run As Administrator," but that did not work either. Apparently, these programs are not designed for Windows Vista, as the description claims.
Important Note: For all programs, you'll need to access the installer files from your "Program File" folder - in other words, the install process is not automatic, and install icons are not placed on your desktop, so you need to dig deep to find them in the install folder, within your computer menu/tree area.

System Requirements: Video Converter appears to work well in the Vista Home Premium, 32-bit OS environment.
The Video Converter program has a pleasant, easy-to-read and understand user interface, and a rich-featured Help File.
I have not had a chance to use it yet, so I cannot comment on its funcitonality.
I have mixed feelings on this one. Because only one of the three programs seems to work, I cannot fully or enthusiastically recommend today's GiveAway.
Ultimately, it is up to each Vista user to decide whether it is worth his or her time to download and install only the one application (i.e., the Video Converter).
To the software manufacturer - this suite needs a major tuneup.

Just downloaded and installed this video utilities suite program. it worked fine on my Windows Vista HP Touch. However, I'd still like to compare this video utilities suite program with the clone2go video converter, which i got months ago (both have strengths and weaknesses):
1. The former can join video files, while the latter is only a video converter;
2. The former supports converting vcd, svcd files, while the latter only has support for formats like avi, mp4, flv, 3gp, rm, mkv, etc.
3. The latter also acts as a YouTube downloader, while the former is just a video converter/joiner.
4. The interface of the former is cool.
5. The latter is easier to nagivate.
Only 1 out of 3 installed correctly.
All Media to MP3 serial number - Installed and Registered Fine.
The other 2 installed but when I tried to open them they immediately shut down with send error report messages.
Can't test if they don't work.
Looks like a nice giveaway. I find it disturbing that they claim to convert between lossy formats without losing quality though... The difference might be slight, but it's not possible to recode lossy video without losing some data (unless the target format is lossless).
as another reviewer noted above, only 1 out of 3 worked. however, for me, it was the video converter that installed and run ok. the other two simply crash on execution.

das Beste Konvergierungsprogramm ist meiner Meinung nach immernoch
"FORMAT FACTORY 1.85" Damit kann man alle Audio und Video Dateien unkompliziert in jedes X-beliebige Format umwandeln.
Programmist in deutscher Sprache und ist super leicht zu bedienen.
Ausprobieren lohnt sich!!

Ob es für Dich ein wirklich gutes Tool ist kannst wohl nur du beurteilen indem du es dir anschaust. Ein Programm welches recht umfangreich mit Konvertierungsmöglichkeiten ausgestattet ist wäre zum Beispiel FormatFactory. Hier wird unter Advanced auch die Möglichkeit geboten Videodateien miteinander zu verschmelzen. Ob diese Funktion ausgereift ist kann ich leider nicht beantworten, denn Videomaterial bzw. dessen Bearbeitung und/oder Verfielfältigung gehört nicht unbedingt zu den Dingen mit denen ich mich beschäftige.

wer googelt hat mehr vom Leben! Versuchs mal mit mkv to avi, oder mkv zu avi oder mkvtoolnix - findest du alles über google! Sollte das mit dem Umbenennen funktionieren, so wird dein Bildschirmformat nicht mehr passen, da Matroska in einem anderen Format codiert ist. Kannst du bei Wikipedia unter Matroska nachlesen!
Zum Konverter: Kann man vergessen!
Ich mache seit langem alles mit Nero, da brauchst nix anderes mehr, für fehlende Codecs gibts dann Codec-Packs! Wozu noch Konverter?

oben werden 5 Programme angekündigt, in der Suite kann ich aber nur 3 entdecken! Video to iPod und PSP 3GP fehlen.

Zum Konvertieren von TV-Dokus nach DivX/XviD in kleinstmögliche Dateien nutze ich seit langem Auto Gordian Knot (AutoGK). Habe keinen anderen Konverter gefunden, der es besser kann ( www.autogk.me.uk/ ).
Versteckte Optionen für spezielle Fälle mit STRG-F9 und STRG-F11.
Das Teil ist sehr anwenderfreundlich und kann auch exotische Dinge...
* (spezieller Modus für Cartoons wie die Simpsons
* reduzierte Quali in Schwarz/Weiß für lange Abspänne (nur bei XviD)
* automatisches Abschneiden der schwarzen Balken bei 4:3 und 16:9 Aufnahmen sowie manuelles Beschneiden (z.B. bei Laufschriften auf n-tv)
* freies Voreinstellen der Audio-Konvertierung (mit STRG-F11).
Für Spielfilme mag XMedia Recode besser sein, wenn man sich damit auskennt.
@ Visitor: Den (natürlich meiner Meinung nach) besten Webpage-Editor gibt's als Freeware: NVU bzw. Kompozer( http://nvu-composer.de/ ).
Frage: Kennt jemand ein wirklich gutes Tool, welches einzelne AVI's zusammenfügt? Sonst werde ich mal den heutigen Aplus Joiner testen.

Versuche einfach die Endung "MKV" in "AVI" zu ändern , denn der avi container kennt h.264 und damit würdest du das konvertieren überflüssig machen.

Da wäre zunächst wieder einmal das unseriöse Werbesprüchlein von der Konvertierung ohne Qualitätsverlust - immer wieder toll, so einen Mist zu lesen.
Zudem überzeugt mich das Konzept nicht - die drei Programmmodule sind offenbar als Einzellösungen gedacht; die Bedienoberflächen sind zwar alle grundsätzlich intuitiv bedienbar, dabei ist aber gerade der Video Converter sehr unübersichtlich gestaltet und die einzelnen Module passen rein optisch nicht zusammen. Insofern wirkt das Ganze sehr unprofessionell. Die Funktionalität macht diesen Eindruck nicht wett.
(Abgesehen davon mag ich persönlich dieses ganze 'Klicki-Bunti'-Zeugs nicht).
Man kann sich mit Recht fragen, ab man die Gesamtfunktionalität dieser 'Suite' in drei Einzelmodule zerpflücken muss - hier muss sich das vorgestellte Softwarepaket (wie so oft bei GAOTD) den hinlänglich bekannten Freewarealternativen 'FormatFactory'und 'XMediaRecode' und 'MediaCoder' geschlagen geben (und zwar um Längen).
Ich sag' nur eins - hab's ausprobiert, ist direkt wieder von meiner Platte gewandert, Daumen runter - Schrott.
@GAOTD: welcher Konverter kommt als Nächstes?

Hat mir bisher bei allen Audio- und Viedeoformaten helfen können.
Ich will nicht meckern sondern nur eine gute Alternative nennen!
