Have had much joy of Aomeis products. Last for about 1 month ago when it was their BackUp Pro program that was the Giveaway. I bought the license offered for lifetime, for USD. 19.95 like today, when it is their partitioning program.
But, but, price after VAT ends up on Usd 25.00. But it is value for money anyway.
No I am not employed by the company, or have special interests, i am just a satisfied customer.
Downloaded OK, Installed OK, Would not open the program, message stated. "Loaded Driver failed, Please re install" no difference tried a few times, then gave up.
aussietaff, I think that if you disable your antivirus software that it will install without any problems. It would seem that quite a few antivirus programs don't like the GOTD file extension .gcd and treat it as a threat. Just remember to re-enable it when your done. Hope this is of some help.
One of my favorite partition managers, been using it for years. Plenty of options and easy to use. No fuss installation on my W 8.1. Highly recommended, thanks!

A little tip from me to the Developer: you might consider correcting some spelling errors in the final window that appears after the installation of your program, where it says view paTrition tuToTials (I put capital letters to point you to those errors).

Nach Setup.exe des "AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro 6.1" kam SOFORT und OHNE Installation gleich das Fenster "Successfully activated".
Und das auch immer wieder nach mehreren Versuchen.
Es ist bisher nur "AOMEI Backupper" installiert, auch keine Reste eines vielleicht früheren Installationsversuches.
Aber vielleicht ist ja auch nur ein Programm von denen erlaubt.
Das ist wieder eine ganz neue Variante der Installationsverweigerung.
Auch die "Daumen nach unten" - Funktion kann nicht aufgerufen werden.
Also auch Negativmeinungsverhinderung !

Unter Windows 10 läßt sich (mit Adminrechten!) die setup.exe starten. Das nächste was man sieht ist:

Es wurde aber definitiv nichts auf der Festplatte installiert! Es läuft auch nicht die Installationsroutine durch wie bei meinem Windows 7 Rechner! Was läuft hier schief?

War bei mir auch zuerst der Fall. Nachdem ich den Avast Virenschutz temporär deaktiviert hatte, ließ sich die Software sofort installieren.
