PROS:
* Smooth download, installation, activation, registration on Vista Home Premium x64 SP2 OS.
* Clean, simple, easy-to-understand, easy-to navigate Graphical User Interface (GUI).
* Smooth, easy, intuitive program operation - even without reading Help Guidance.
* Allows import of music from files/folders/Audio CDs.
* Allows compacting/repairing of Database.
* Allows emptying of Database.
* Allows for numerous editing features (too many to list here).
* Allows toggle repeat/toggle shuffle options.
* Supports Greek and English languages.
* Allows advanced search options via: Title, Artist, Album, Year, Genre, Length, Composer, etc.
* Allows for tools that include: Export tracks, Make playlist, Play selected track to default player, Download artist photo/bio/Album Cover, Track Lyrics.
* Registration Information and e-mail support info. shows up in About Section.
CONS:
* Program requires re-boot to complete installation.
* Program must be operated in ADMIN MODE.
* Help Guidance located online only, and not in program.
* GUI could be a bit more vistually appealing, IMHO.

This has the potential to turn into a nice piece of software. I tried it out based on the stated feature of downloading/saving lyrics and artist bio. Unfortunately it didn't work with the albums I tried it on: Abba - The Album; Rockpile - Seconds of Pleasure (remastered); and Ratt - Out of the Cellar. I have no problem grabbing the lyrics for those same albums using WinAmp with a plugin (Leo's Lyrics I think). Another minus for the program was my inability to use native Windows selection i.e. selecting 1 track then using shift-click to select a group. I had to select each track individually--too time consuming.
The system I tried it on is Vista Ultimate 64-bit, AMD Phenom, 4 Gb RAM.
I am very disappointed that AllMySongs does not support Unicode at all. International characters other than A-Z comes out all distorted.
Ok i downloaded this because i am looking for a database that can organize all my Music ,books,PDF/text files,photo's,films and software.Putting info in id tags but not only for music.
I would love it to find a program that can tag books(digital one off course),photo's,films,text/PDF files and even software but having the tag build into the file i like to tag .
But looking to this program that is a disappointment it does do the same as any good music player except for playing music.
It does not even support foreign characters like Chinese ore Thai(my computer does).Because of that i did uninstall and not check the rest.For my Music i use Media monkey and this program does it all including Foreign Characters.
O yea Media Monkey is also a great player and tagger and if you get the Gold version it also can convert Files and rip CD.
Sorry i don't try to sell Mediamonkey but i just do not see any reason for a program like this.
Making it a all in one tagger then it has potential.
A program like Benubird got close but it is specialized for PDF files.
Fotis make it an all in one Database/tagger and you will get my attention.
Ps i have trouble sending this i am getting this 502 Bad Gateway.

is a complete feature rich multimedia cataloger for all kinds of files (pdf, music, movies, software...) which automatically imports mp3 tags, searches the web for album covers, on importing pdf's it adds the md5 checksums and title etc, if available, adds infos from Amazon. Portable. And free.

Es ist zwar wichtig und richtig eine Platform für Entwickler / Dienste zu bieten, aber auf Dauer sind die hier angebotenen Progs, gerade weil es oft bessere OpenSource Tools gibt, hoffnungslos.
Die Idee ist gut, Umsetzung schwach.

Also ich find das Programm nicht schlecht.
Eher finde ich diese ständigen miesepetrigen Äusserungen mancher
User mehr als störend und befremdlich. Denn, wenn euch GAOTD nicht gefällt, warum geht Ihr trotzdem auf die Seite? Es gibt ja auch andere
Möglichkeiten für Frustabbau, ohne dass man ständig über eine Seite herzieht, die ab und zu schon Downloadperlen für lau bereit hält.
Also ich find GAOTD gut und ich bin kein Angestellter von denen.

das heutige ist so lächerlich und unausgegohren wie der Kefir nach dem Ansetzen.Wer dafür dann auch noch Geld haben will,ist komplett aus der Realität entglitten!Dafür gibt es hunderter BESSERER Freewareprogramme,in Deutsch und auch im Windows XP,VISTA enthalten(Windows Mediaplayer11),iTunes,Realplayer,Media Monky und diverser anderer Programme!

Kann iTunes und der Player von Windows auch (name is mir grad entfallen).
Die haben viel mehr features und sind dazu noch kostenlos!

Heute ist mal ein Tool im Angebot wo ich auch NEIN zu sagen muss. Selbst als Giveaway bietet es nicht so viel wie viele Freewareprogamme, und ansonsten für dieses Tool Geld zu verlangen ist auch ein wneig "frech".
Bessere Alternativen sind:
MediaMonkey (die Freeware bietet 90% der Vollversion - dennoch lohnt sich sogar die Vollversion zu kaufen, benutze ich seit jahren und kann nur sagen "Spitze")
iTunes
Songbird
aTunes (sehr interessante iTunes Alternative)
