I blundered my way through what I had thought would be a quick test. The download and install went fine AFTER I read the readme the third or fourth time and followed the directions rather than leaping to conclusions.

The terms are different from what I've seen recently of GOD. Yeah, one year and it turns into a pumpkin. BUT during that year there are upgrades and tech support. Surely enough time to decide if it is working for me. The purchase price is good. But so is the purchase price of Format Factory.

The first thing I did was to change an MKV file to MP4. BUT I got click happy and loaded a 6g file. Oops. Eventually, I brought up Task Manager to see if the program had crashed. It hadn't, but all eight cores of my CPU were running at better than 90%. And my video card heat was making me nervous. I set things up to do the MP4 conversion and started. Again the CPU and video card were maxed. AceThinker estimated 30 minutes for the job. I'm impatient so I killed and deleted that project and went looking for a small MKV file. That import and conversion went fast. So I imported a second MKV file with a vastly different resolution and frame rate. (hi-Def versus cellphone) I converted both and joined them into one file at the quality of the better clip. That went fine, but the upsizing was not pretty on the vastly smaller file. But that's my choice, not AceThinker.

I tried converting the huge file with Format Factory. FF imported it quickly. But the conversion would take over three hours!

I'm not sure what to conclude yet. The first hour with this software is too soon to judge whether to keep or toss so I'll keep AceThinker and test it again when I'm doing something that really matters to me.

just installed, it is only a one year licence but it doesn't show that until after you have installed. Have now uninstalled.

This is one of the more complicated software registrations. Requiring watching a video and reading a page of instructions, it appears that you have to enter a registration code BEFORE it is sent to your email.
