These electronic Personal Organizers/Managers always sound marvelous and tempting, don't they. Wow, no more rummaging through Files with bits here, bits there, texts, pictures, and snapshots of what gets our daily attention - stored usually in countless Folders? Or, as Programmers of '1-abc.net Personal Information Center' put it - 'how easy it can be to get access to all your personal data from just one program'. Fine, but..
Having access to ALL your personal Data?? Hmm. Never mind Diaries, Reminders, Birthdays and fluffy thoughts. If only!..
Sure, some important 'stuff' like numerous Software Sites where we create Accounts, fill Forms, give Addresses, make Passwords, or log into our favorite online TV Programs we missed, or want to watch again - CAN be classed as less sensitive - therefore much safer to keep on PC in electronic form. HOWEVER - anything tied to PAYMENTS (e-bay, PayPal, Banking!, to name the few) - should NEVER be stored on PC, or 'remembered' by Google for that matter!
So, when it comes to storing really Sensitive Data, that is logging to places and passwords of vital importance - nothing can beat real (paper) Notepad placed on real Desktop next to one's Computer!! Small enough to be physically portable. That's not a paranoia but sensible and safe Practice!! I try to give that advice especially to younger members of my own family, no less. Hackers can by-pass so, so many safety measures nowadays..
Today's Offer might be a 'cool' idea (at least some parts of it), I personally stay away from such Software. Better be safe than.. tempted! Goes for those who 'carry' sensitive Data on smartphones, even moreso..IMHO.
Yes, yes, store your personal schedule on the Internet, share your "personal thoughts," and keep all your passwords on the Web. What could possibly go wrong?
IMO, this software is too expensive for what it does. Yes, I know it is free today, but if I am not willing to pay $39.99 for it, I'm sure not going to use it to store important information. A small glitch in my computer and all that information would be lost unless I fork over the money. I make it a habit to only install gotd apps that I would consider purchasing.

Wie sieht das mit den Passwörtern aus?
Integriert sich das Programm in die jeweiligen Browser und fügt die Kennwörter dann automatisch ein ?

Diese Firma macht mit ihren ganzen halblebigen Angeboten nur Werbung für die völlig überteuerte 1-abc.net Utility Box 8.00, die angeblich euer PC System schneller und sicherer machen soll. Was sich allerdings nach einigen Tests nicht bewahrheitet hat. Auffällig ist, dass man diese tools in regelmäßigen Abständen neu registrieren muss, da sie ihre Registrierdaten irgendwo im nirgendwo ablegen. NEIN DANKE!
