Works very well in my machine running W7 Ultimate.
It sports a great startup manager, which can even automatically disable all those damn useless startup programs not needed to start at boot. Can also optimize Services running in background in order to speedup your system dramatically (very handy feature especially for PC Gamers).
So why 69% THUMBS DOWN? Are you joking guys?

Installed and registered on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system without problems. Comes with a two years (Dec. 2015) "premiere licence" preinstalled.

One of the many "we'll make your system faster than ever" programs. In this case not "faster than ever", but like a "brand new computer"...
This program will clean, speed up, maintain, secure, and repair your system to make your PC run like brand new
I am afraid of the "brand new", because I would like to keep all the installed programs. Let's test.
It first demand a system restore point. This is always a good advice (if you are not running a virtual system)
The PC cleaner makes a good impression. You can choose where to search and it gives a good overview of the found files. And it does not delete automatically, you have to run the cleaner again. When running the PC cleaner again, the subtask wants to access the internet. Why that???
Started the "startup booster", wants to contact the internet again. I denied... A normal startup manager, with a good interface. The choice of "not needed" and "should disable" doesn't seem to have influence on the displayed startup items. But looks okay and doesn't anything "automatically". IMHO Better than many other startup mangers.
One of the better "we tune everything" programs. And the first I have encountered, that gives in the first system analysis the answer:

All other claimed up to now, that my pc must be tuned because of...
The program makes an excellent impression. Nothing really new, but programmed with the demands of the unexperienced user in mind.
After the test, I am happy not to have a brand new computer. All my installed programs have been left untouched.
A good choice for those, who believe in magically making a computer better and faster and brand new and who buys from time to time snake oil. A good impression overall!
They tell above "... repair your system to make your PC run like brand new."
That's impossible because even every Windows Update may slow down your system. Every additional installed software does the same, adding autostarts, processes, services etc. Take a screen photo of windows task manager before and after install or better print hardcopies and compare. Do the same for all autostarts with Autoruns.exe's screens (from Microsoft/Systeminternals). That's why I prefer portable apps if possible - no autostarts and they normally don't alter registry etc.
I'm waiting for the usual: "Synei System Utilities found 1000 entries to correct, software xyz only 500, therefore Synei is much better". I'm a fan of cautious correction because I love a stable system. The more corrections the more risk.
So far I and others got no problems with free CCleaner (portable if you like), enhanced by CCenhancer to remove temp files etc from 1000 additional programs.

Best advice before tampering with your system: an actual backup at least of your system partition with an imager, several of them GOTDs in the past.
If you got a fast modern system with lots of memory I think any trials of accelerating are in vain. Just remove temp files (e.g. using CCleaner!) to make resulting backup images smaller and the procedure thus faster.

When turning the Turbo mode on, you need to configure it.
When reading the description about the services, you might as me misunderstand the words about disabling as much services as possible:
quote: Please SELECT the services that you would like to TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.
I believed, that I should REMOVE the default SELECTions about e.g. the NETLOGON service, otherwise it would temporarily be suspended.
Because that's what the description tells you: SELECT if you want it SUSPENDED.
The result was, that when I un-selected all the services, that I didn't want to be suspended, among others the NETLOGON service, Synei changed about 50 of my services to DE-AKTIVATED.
I was lucky, that I had another identical computer, so I could see, what to do MANUALLY (and in Synei) about my services, before I lost the power, or it was rebooted, because I'm sure, that it would never be able to reboot with all those 50 disabled services.
PLEASE DESCRIBE THAT IMMIDIATELY :-( :-( :-(

Warum wird nicht die aktuelle Version 1.85, sondern nur 1.82 angeboten? Ich hatte bereits v 1.50 installiert und finde das Programm ok - als Ergänzung (!) zu anderen wie z.B. CCleaner usw.

Stefan, die GCD Datei(brauchst Du unbedingt für die Installation) und die Read Me Datei ist bei jedem GotD Programm dabei. Wenn Du die nicht willst kannst Du Dich bei Gotd gleich abmelden. Ist zwar dämlich aber wenn Du dem Frieden nicht traust kannst Du sie ja anschließend shreddern!!!
Und natürlich sind die SHOWTIME-Clowns wieder unterwegs und wie immer hochgeistige Ergüsse von ihnen.

Ich habe "Synei System Utilities 1.82" getestet. Nach fünfmaligem Durchlauf läuft mein Rechner jetzt ca. 3x so schnell. Ich werde dieses tolle Tool noch einige Male durchlaufen lassen und das Ergebnis Euch sofort mitteilen.

Wieder mal eine eierlegende Wollmilchsau, deren "Nutzen" eigentlich mittlerweile auch dem letzten Hinterwäldler bekannt sein dürfte. Selbst "Fachzeitschriften", wie PC Praxis, die ja nun wirklich nicht als kritisch bekannt ist,bescheinigen solchen Programmen keinerlei Nutzen.
Und in der c`t wurde schon des öfteren die Nutzlosigkeit auch in Tests nachgewiesen.
Der tumbe Anwender bemerkt evtl. eine gefühlte Verbesserung, eine wirklich meßbare kann aber nicht konstatiert werden.
Nun, jeder "Rundum-Sorglos-Paket"-Anwender sollte dann aber davon abeshen, in diesbezglichen Hilfeforen "Hilfe, mein Compi funzt ned mehr!" zu krakeelen.

Der Grund, weshalb ich das Programm nicht installieren werde ist weder Framework noch der tolle Hinweis von mcgee auf eine Schrottalternative, sondern:
!!! .GCD file included is necessary for correct installation and activation. Please make sure to extract all enclosed files to the same folder. After successful activation and installation you may safely delete GOTD installation files from your PC (including .GCD)!!!
Da ist mir die Gefahr zu groß, dass ich anschließend nicht alles sauber entferne und Schrott auf der Platte kann ich nicht gebrauchen.

Mir schießen immer Tränen in die Augen vor Lachen, wenn ich "Maximieren der PC-Geschwindigkeit in nur einem Klick" lese. Mit nur einem Klick schalte ich den Rechner wieder aus und erspare diesen Schwachsinn für $40.

Hallo "mcgee", solltest mal auf deinen link selber draufklicken, dann wüsstest du es. Man kann dieses Programm offensichtlich auch dort kostenlos beziehen, allerdings in der Light-Version Welche Version hier angeboten wird, erschließt sich mir nicht. Chip sagt dazu auch aus, dass das Programm auch vernünftig arbeitet, die Übersetzung ins deutsche schlecht ist und man tunlichst beim englischen bleiben sollte. Laut Chip kommt das Programm auch nicht an CC-Cleaner heran. Womit für mich klar ist, dass ich es nicht runterlade und lieber bei CCC bleibe.
