Die Virtuallisierungs Software von Altiris habe ich nicht zum Laufen gebracht.Angeblich fehlen einige MS-Komponenten…? es lies sich gar nicht erst installieren.Schade

Noch was zu Virtualisierungs-Software…ich habe sehr gute Erfahrungen
mit “virtual box” und “moka5-engine” (www.moka5.com)gemacht.
Allerdings sollte man da mindestens 1Gb an Speicher haben,sonst ruckelt es nur.

Mit einem komplett emulierten PC, wie z.B mit VMWare, Virtual PC,
Virtual Box und andere mehr…

Im Gegensatz dazu nur das Programm mit dem für privat User kostenlosen
Altiris SVS virtualisieren.

Eventuell mit SandBoxie.

Oder auch mit dem Heutigen Programm, welches man dann am besten manuell aktiviert über www eazsolution com/internal/inputinfo.php

Doppelt ärgerlich DU hast genausowenig gelesen und/oder verstanden wie der von Dir zitierte Kommentator…

Das nervt machmal schon – erst recht, wenn ja berechtigte Kritik (auch ich habe ja kritische Einwände) mit Unsinn oder nicht-lesen vermischt werden!!!
Es ist IMMER einschwieriger Widerspruch/Konflikt Personen Sicherheit zu verkaufen die sich zugleich nicht interessieren und kümmern wollen (das sieht man auch an den fraglcihen, aufgeblähten und LEICHT AUSHEBELBAREN Sicherheitsmechanismen von XP und VISTA…!) Meiner Meinung ist ja auch EINFACHHEIT (und Information!) das Gegen-Konzept dazu.
Andererseits gibt bisher der Verkauf Microsoft recht… Vielleicht WOLLEN wir uns ja besserwissend aufregen über so viel Müll und Unsinn. Und die User verlangen ja auch in großen Scharen noch weitere Aufblähungen – ohne zu wissen, daß ohnehin für fast alles schon Instrumente in Win integriert sind… es scheint also hoffnungslos.

Ich entwerfe übrigens immer Firmenlösungen, die ein Minimum an Mitarbeit verlangen und KEINE VOLL-Automatik bieten! so wissen die Anwender (vor allem Arztpraxen), DASS da etwas geschieht und WO etwas geschieht.
Humoriges zur VOLL-Automatik: “muß ich den PC für das Update anschalten…?” oder “… der PC geht nicht an … ach, den Knopf unten muß ich auch drücken?!” (nur der Monitor war an…)

Will this software work after I freshly install windows? Because this software is connected with Giveaway, will it stop
working or become a trial software?

The only problem I see with this as a GOTD giveaway is that you need to reinstall this software quite regularly
because you cannot defragment your HD while the software is installed, which is a bit of a nuisance. I assume, as
with all other GOTD sofware, that trying to reinstall after the day of the giveaway will not work and you will then have
to purchase the software to continue using it.

It’s an application, which does snapshot of system areas of harddrive on shedule. As it’s _NOT_ backup sofware
(as it is said on website, and also snapshot creation and reverting time is suspiciously low) if your file gets deleted,
and the data on the hard drive is overwriten, reverting back to snapshots would not provide file recovery, but in
opposite – it can cause trashing your system to dust.
I would be very careful with this piece of software.

Since this type of software, while very useful, can be very dangerous if it doesn’t function correctly, I have some
requests for those brave enough to try it. My first concern is a complete lack of information on the website; just a
partial description. My second concern is a lack of useful reviews on the Internet. My third concern is that some
reviews indicated that this replaces System Restore–I don’t like programs which replace Windows services,
especially critical ones. So, if someone tests this, what things in Windows does it replace or break? I’m sure it
modifies the boot sector, how compatible is it?

Be warned that installation of this program turns off system restore resulting in the loss of all your restore points.

CON The program changes the MBR.This could eventually be troublesome if crash your computer.
I would prefer an option to disable changing the master boot record.
PRO It gives you a nice bootscreen to restore snapshots,pressing the ‘home’ button.
I would not recommend this program on multibootsystems.
Needs to be installed on each OS.

Perturbed to find that it’s causing all sorts of problems with IE after installation. Causes total system crash.
Uninstalled and tried to use System Restore to be doubly sure but found this prog disabled that too, wiping all
previous restore points.

It gave me some very serious trouble.
I have uninstalled your software.
EAZ-FIX has disabled my windows XP “system restore”
and I can not restart the system restore service
