Wozu sollte man die Wiedererfindung des Rades schätzen, wenn es schon genug Räder gibt?
Oder anders gefragt: Ist es von einem Programmierer zuviel verlangt, vor dem Schreiben eines Programms den Bedarf abzuschätzen und nach echten Marktlücken zu suchen anstatt etwas Überflüssiges zu programmieren?

Will this software work after I freshly install windows? Because this software is connected with Giveaway, will it stop
working or become a trial software?

The only problem I see with this as a GOTD giveaway is that you need to reinstall this software quite regularly
because you cannot defragment your HD while the software is installed, which is a bit of a nuisance. I assume, as
with all other GOTD sofware, that trying to reinstall after the day of the giveaway will not work and you will then have
to purchase the software to continue using it.

It’s an application, which does snapshot of system areas of harddrive on shedule. As it’s _NOT_ backup sofware
(as it is said on website, and also snapshot creation and reverting time is suspiciously low) if your file gets deleted,
and the data on the hard drive is overwriten, reverting back to snapshots would not provide file recovery, but in
opposite – it can cause trashing your system to dust.
I would be very careful with this piece of software.

Since this type of software, while very useful, can be very dangerous if it doesn’t function correctly, I have some
requests for those brave enough to try it. My first concern is a complete lack of information on the website; just a
partial description. My second concern is a lack of useful reviews on the Internet. My third concern is that some
reviews indicated that this replaces System Restore–I don’t like programs which replace Windows services,
especially critical ones. So, if someone tests this, what things in Windows does it replace or break? I’m sure it
modifies the boot sector, how compatible is it?

Be warned that installation of this program turns off system restore resulting in the loss of all your restore points.

CON The program changes the MBR.This could eventually be troublesome if crash your computer.
I would prefer an option to disable changing the master boot record.
PRO It gives you a nice bootscreen to restore snapshots,pressing the ‘home’ button.
I would not recommend this program on multibootsystems.
Needs to be installed on each OS.

I avoid any program that over rides a windows system program reguardless of its claims.

Perturbed to find that it’s causing all sorts of problems with IE after installation. Causes total system crash.
Uninstalled and tried to use System Restore to be doubly sure but found this prog disabled that too, wiping all
previous restore points.

It gave me some very serious trouble.
I have uninstalled your software.
EAZ-FIX has disabled my windows XP “system restore”
and I can not restart the system restore service
because it tells me ” access denied”

The sales person did confirm that any disk defragmentation of a drive will be lost if a restore to a snapshot is done.

Giveaway of the days only work after they’ve been installed during the 24 hour “grace” period. They can’t be
re-installed many days after the first installation …….. so . …… they’re useless if you have to re-install your O/S

Habe dazwischen auch die Zeit gehabt das Programm so richtig auszuprobieren und bleibe bei der Aussage, dass es ein vorteilhaft kleiner, schneller, anfänger-tauglicher und durchaus nützlicher Tool ist.

@ralfxavier … da wäre ich mir nicht so sicher. Manche Ausrutscher der Natur lassen sich nicht so leicht hinbiegen :-)
